Psychopath Diary is just one example. Most psycho roles are overacted so much it hurts to watch. The most recent example is in Alchemy of Souls s2. Laugh all you want, in the minority.

Also King in Love, one of the most romantic k-dramas imo, loved it.

Personally I could stand Dong Wook only in Goblin. Can't watch him in anything else.

mostly, actors playing psychopaths overdo it. It's the easiest thing in the world to do. I had to drop Psychopath Diary for this very reason. Overacting with twisting the mouth or face or expressing things with your eyes. Ís what makes the difference between really good actors and just mediocre ones.

Not really, Siwan plays all kinds of roles.

Best remedy: watch Run On or Summer Strike.

what's this ridiculous rating.... one of the very best k-dramas. Beautiful and extremely well written. For all of us who enjoy intelligent and emotional dramas. This is even better than Chocolate and If You Wish Upon Me., imo. 9/10.

She's fantastic in Be Melodramatic. One of the very best k-dramas imo.

I watched this bc of Siwan. He's great. as is Chon Woo Hee and others. This is a crime thriller that doesn't stand out in the genre in any way. No deeper content. It's good for passing the time, but nothing special. This could have been just one episode in a detective series. But this is typical for Netflix original movies, mostly. It's still worth watching for the great acting. 7.5.
