This is not MDL content. Actors' private lives are no go area for most people who write reviews and comments on k-dramas here. Pls don't turn this into Dispatch. The YouTube channel is already bad/childish enough in assuming we are interested in actors' private lives.
The name of the drama is actually "If You Cheat You Die". It's also a name of a book written by the FL. No encouragement of cheating in the drama. That cheating is on the heading is a turn-off for most people (reading comments on Strangers Again today. The 2 dramas are worlds apart in terms of quality though. If You Cheat You Die being vastly superior in my view).
Hope or dope 2 is a direct continuation of season 1. I don't find it different, the 2 seasons form one whole story arc. This was a rare kind, no boring parts, story flow was effortless. I didn't skip anything or take breaks from watching, which is rare. The acting is very natural and low-key. Highly recommended if you enjoy finding less known gems. 8.5
Also, how do you even know it’s the same group of people saying this and not different people? Some drama fans…
I admire your patience. I always block people who are trolling and misbehaving. Calling k-drama fans clows is just very unpolite. I just sweep trolls, makes the site more confortable for me.
I am glad I found this. Really enjoyed it, it's worth watching. It's actually not in the high school genre. Although they start out in a school setting, it's not about school problems or bullying. The main characters all have a heavy load of issues, none of their own making. I guess the "found family" trope, which is one of my fave tropes, describes this best. The drama is not overly dark or a thriller. I really liked how it advanced seamlessly without any unnecessary side plots. A web drama just as good as dramas from bigger networks. 8.5
The ending was quite bland. I expected we'd finally get to see a storm of Park Sung Woong (I love his acting as you can see from my profile). Altogether, Chae Jong Hyeop was great, hoping he has lots of new main roles coming. His acting was so effortless, he carried the show. Eun Soo was great as well, Kim Sung Oh was a scene stealer for sure (just as in Alice the Final Weapon). Looking forward to watch him in main roles in the future. The child actress was so good, it added a lot to the drama for her to have a lot of screentime.
