The ending was perfect. They really nailed it with all the qualities that were best about the drama, I ended up giving it 8.5. instead of 8.0 which I had until the finale. There were boring parts in the drama as many have mentioned. But it was its own kind of drama and I'm sure I'll remember this one for a long time.
Personally I think this deserve 9 or 9.1 rating by MDL standard overall
This is so much better than Move to Heaven which has 9.2. Maybe there's a Netflix factor at play there meaning more people from all over the world see Netflix series. Don't know. I agree that usually MDL ratings end up pretty accurate. Not always but usually.
Yoon Park was so good in FLAW. Sooyoung has amazing versatility. Run On, IYWUM Nurse Seo, Anti-Fan, completely different characters. One of the very best actressess imo
Yes indeed, looking forward to this! Liked S2 casting more than S1. Hope Kim Min Jae also returns as Nurse Park! Def one of the key characters in Doldam Hospital.
Nowhere near the level of current kdramas. If choosing bc of Song Joong Ki: we don't get to understand the motives and background of the character until ep 19. If choosing bc of Yoo In Ah: very worthwhile! Shines in this role!
This one started off well and was entertaining in the first half. But 20 episodes is clearly too much. I skipped all the parts with the university villains and the fathers and I'm still having a hard time to finish (currently at ep 19). It has dated quite a lot. There's no real depth to the characters. The character played by Song Joong Ki is written particularly oddly. I started this bc of an interest in the history of King Jeongjo after having watched the Red Sleeve. The portrayal of the king and his goals seems to be quite truthful aka based on historical sources. Some things that the king says could very well have been taken out of actual historical diaries. Also impressive acting from Jo Sung Ha, as always. Good to see him in a good king role and not as a chilling villain, for a change. But logically it doesn't make sense that they're looking for King Youngjo's letter to Crown Prince Sado when the king is almost at the end of his days (died at the age of 47) - in Red Sleeve the letter was discovered before King Jeongjo arose to the throne. If anyone likes to proceed in the history like me, I also watched the KBS drama special the Crimson Moon which portrays the sad faith of the crown prince Sado.
MDL doesn't differentiate between main role and main lead role. I don't see why it would be necessary. You don't…
Kim Seon Ho has had only one main lead role and one main role so he's just a beginner. People vote for him bc he was dropped from several roles bc of a fake scandal.
MDL doesn't differentiate between main role and main lead role. I don't see why it would be necessary. You don't…
Randomly removing actors that people have added based (Kim Young Jae) on whether they've been main lead or second main lead and in howe many dramas does not mean anything but a mess.
MDL doesn't differentiate between main role and main lead role. I don't see why it would be necessary. You don't get a love triangle without 3 people. Many dramas are not about romance so it makes no sense to try to distinguish between main lead and main role. Ensemble dramas have many main roles. Not all lists matter (if any). But I don't like it when the list creator changes the results at whim when there are 10+ voters. I added half of the names in this list which consequently have been voted by 20+ people (Kim Seon Ho, Nam Yoon Su, for instance were added by me). So be careful, when creating a list, to define it clearly and meaningfully. And before doing it, make sure you acturally have the relevant knowledge to moderate it.
