The thread below is astounding. Thousands of comments from psycho Knetz who have NO idea what they're talking…
It's shocking to the max. These predators will drown in their own venom.

Well said! The picture is so much bigger than KSH. He will pay for his part, but putting the blame solely on him…
I've scrapped my plans to travel to SK. All k-dramas just seem like a big lie now.

This is actually not bad at all, it has its own strenghts. The atmosphere is grim and that is by design. Cinematography and location are pretty awesome. The weaknesses are that we don't get to know the characters well enough to care about them. The motives for murders are not always credible. The love story of support characters is not cringey but takes too much space. I think the director just fell in love with his own shots and didn't have the heart to cut them as he should have. Like all Light On series noir dramas, this gets more tight and suspenseful towards the end. I definitely don't regret watching this although on my scale it's just 6.5./10.

Your points are well-stated. I just listened to Kim Soo Hyun’s presentation. The following comments seemed unrelated…
There is nothing that he have could said about the deceased or their life together without being blamed of defaming and/or lying. It's obvious to everyone that QoT would have suffered from his acknowledgement of the relationship during the airing. Everyone in the production would have been influenced and he had to protect them. He said they had a relationship and it ended (uncomfortably). He said everyone has a private life in addition to a public life. I think that much should be so obvious to everyone but no. Everything is twisted to fit the narrative as if we don't know anything about how the industry functions.

Everyone ignores this: https://kisskh.at/10359-hi-school-love-on

Kim Sae Ron was 14 years old when she played FL the romance drama Hi School Love On (2014) with an adult male lead (20-21). I'd like to know if that isn't considered grooming, and who was her manager at that time (the mother?), and what the agency was.

Comments from the drama page:

"What do you think of age gap of FL being 13/14 old (most likely a kid) and ML, SL being 20-21 yr old...? i know there wasn't any kiss scene...but there was a almost kiss scene.. when i watched it 1st time i thought she was 17-18 but it's shocking that she was just 13-14 that time. . "

"Casting an underage girl and made her play a role dating someone who’s 9 years older than her and living together as a student. "

"There's a "joke" in ep 2 that woohyun's character makes because Saeron's character walks in on him showering. "Why don't I watch you shower and see how you feel?""

Things like this and much more is ignored. KSR previous 18 suicide attempts, her shotgun marriage in New York Jan 2025, her boyfriend saying things about the husband, her manager looking after her on a daily basis and paying hospital bills.

Everyone always has their own side and stakes from which they tell a story. Husband, boyfriend, mom, manager, KSH, Hoverlab, GM.

It's just not normal to claim to know the facts of the case.

And pls stop the racist bashing of Nigerian fans and ageist bashing of ahjummas. That's just so utterly dirty and indecent and bizarre. As if throwing mud in every direction is now suddenly acceptable behavior. How crazy can you be to go through all the gossip sites picking up comments to laugh at and posting them here.

I like this a lot based on first 3 episodes. For c-noir drama lovers. Chen Jiang He is delightfully temperamental, his shouting at the office makes me amused. The mountaineous half-desert location is very beautiful.

Okayy but is anyone having a bit of trouble with the cinematography at times? Idk if it's the cinematography or…
There's a greenish hue. I kinda like it, it adds to the atmosphere. Showing the dust and sand in the air.

Hoverlab will be making about 500 000 at least from their "reporting", family gets a cut, 50 000. Defamation lawsuit gives them a 5000 fine. These are just the proportions. Based on the knowledge (reported by Korea Times) that political YouTube channels are currently raking in millions from their reporting after the military coup effort. We will never know whether this is the case regarding the family or not. But we know that Hoverlab has come up with a bullet proof method of making millions. Hoverlab has already begun to dig up dirt on other celebrities (Cha Eun Woo). This will go on forever if people don't get their heads straigthened.

All that gives me comfort from my distress of seeing the SK bloodthirsty lynchmob of cyberbullies is that this nation will soon go extinct. These people are like the Red Guards carrying unhinged public humiliation parades with beatings during the Chinese Cultural Revolution. I didn't know or understand that people will go violent to this degree when given free reign to shoot anonymously from their basements. This is a case for the history books. It's just scary how this place, MDL, is filled with insane bloodlusty babies (emphasis on the word lust) who just want a man to shoot his brains out. Like the woke mind virus which essentially just breeds anger and looking for something or someone to judge. Also, unfulfilled lives and loneliness can be root causes for venting anger, hatred and toxicity to this degree. I see a few adult voices here for which I'm grateful. But all in all the SK media is just making money on this mess without any restraints. I was expecting to see a full "step on the brakes on everybody" from newspapers today but no. I can imagine how the actors in SK feel. They may be the model citizens that their contracts dictate them to be, But still they have to worry endlessly that someone will post an out-of-context picture of them presumably doing something dubious. Only a nation of adult children needs their celebrities to be role models. That is the root problem.

I know only a few people will understand that I'm looking at the big picture here so there'll be a full page of comments throwing mud at me. So be it. But I've been very vocal about the harms of bringing celebrity gossip to MDL. Always objected. Now this place is just lost. Nothing will ever bring the positive drama lovers community vibe back. I don't even want to watch k-dramas anymore.

This actually quite good. Mainly about a group of juvenile office prosecutors who do their best to help and support youths with difficulties. No social porn, not dark or depressing. Minimal suspense. More warmth and optimism. The plot gets going slowly, exploring intertangled cases and crimes. Bc of the slowness, I watched on 1.5 speed. The acting is top notch.

Doesn't matter to me. I like ensemble dramas that portray a whole community and this is one. Realistic and serious, dark drama. It really takes its time to build the case, so it is not for the impatient. The bright side is that we get a fully fleshed out story.

Being against this all is cyberbullying is the adult thing to do. But then all of this bottomless cruelty gets thrown to us bystanders too. These cyberbullies are like zombies who get stronger and stronger by finding new victims in the form MDL users. What really the actual benefit from making "guilty" hate lists of MDL users. I feel dizzy from the craziness.

I AM AGAINST MDL LYNCHMOB. I'M NOT PRO-KSH, PRO-PEDOPHILIA. This thing of making hate lists of users and sharing them is just NOT OKAY. If people are not asking someone to die or do not hope quick death to KSH that does not make them monsters. Cyberbullies have completely taken over this site.

This was intense and not boring for a minute. The plot twists were very good. Shin Hyun Been is awesome in noir dramas and films (pls nobody put her in a romcom again). Ryu Jun Yeol's character was similar to the obsessed priest in Save Me Season 2. I was totally immersed. 9/10.
