I haven't seen any teachers coming to school wearing their pajamas but if that makes me annoying so be it. It's just that there's a social dress code which most people observe out of courtesy. Maybe there's a story there which explains her reckless behavior.

I forgot to mention Dong Jae: The Good or The Evil, which is immensely entertaining. My rating for these similar genre dramas: Dong Jae 9/10, The Auditors 8/10, Parole Examiner 7/10.

Calling people haters is babytalk and also an effort to suppress other people's opinions. I would block everybody saying that thing and but then again I remind myself that they are fourteen year olds. Some dramas attract extreme fandoms that refuse to understand that this is a commenting and criticism site. I haven't found any Korean newspaper in English language containing anything else but advertising. So the only place for serious analysis of dramas is this.

This is not bad at all. It's an okay drama but dry-ish. That's why the low rating. There's something lacking, I'm not getting immersed in it. Also, I don't understand some actor choices (the male secretary could have been a more lively & humorous character, for instance). From similar dramas: The Auditors from this year was much more suspense-filled and had more interesting cases, imo. I've liked Go Soo most in Heart Surgeons. I might finish this, slowly, but it's not a priority.

Thanks for the hint! I'm watching Lost in Shadows right now and that too is really good. I made a request to Netflix for Blossoms Shanghai. I really hope they buy it. I love Wong Kar-Wai films and this doesn't seem to have eng subs yet on other platforms.

Another c-noir drama that is simply amazing. This is truly clever writing.

Moon Sang Min and Bae Hyeon Seong fighting scene was a racket! I could see from their eyes how much they were enjoying doing that. To have these two in an action comedy! Also, the actors doing the leads as teenagers were so good. Hong Min Ki needs a lead role asap! The drama is nonserious but not cringey like many recent romcoms. Started well, hopefully gets even better. The writer has written very entertaining dramas like The Tale of Nokdu and Love In the Moonlight.

It's complete. Since it consists mostly of episodic cases, it's possible to watch S2 without watching S1.

Many thanks for this article. Will def start watching. Am simply amazed by the high quality of c-noir dramas and been watching a lot of them this year. Other c-noir watchers will also likely appreciate Escape From the Trilateral Slopes, and The First Shot.

expext all-round silliness and we're good to go

This is silly and absurd (how they employ 5 municipal workers just to marry off one guy) but for some mysterious reason I kind of liked the first episodes. Must be the curls on Lee Yi Kyung. He's not someone you can say no to.

Did anybody actually like Lee Jin Wook in Dear Hyeri......it was just difficult to watch him. Hope this is not a waste of a good script with these actors.

Lee Joon Hyuk was absolutely perfect in Dong Jae! Loved every minute of the drama. It's so funny yet also a really good crime drama.

the most fluffy dramas have the most people who mistake this site for a fansite. People feeling they must fight wrong opinions about dramas that aren't even serious, where they have no stakes, is what's silly.
