I’m normally wary of twin switcharoo dramas cus there are plenty of badly written/produced ones out there but this was such a fun romcom! Gao Hanyu’s goofiness shone thru Mu Xiulun and we love a pretty bad ass FL. I would’ve loved a better episode 22 but overall so happy about this quick watch!
It seems a lot of people who are up in arms with the FL is because she's not written to fit their love narrative.See,…
THIS. Literally this. Just a slight tweak as I don’t think it was completely one-sided. She seemed to have developed some feelings while working for him, she’s just put her feelings aside because she had a goal to do. He was ruthless in stealing her master’s knife all for his revenge plot so why can’t she be ruthless in her own revenge plot she’s always said she was gonna do? Even if CC’s sister cheated, that is outside of LN because she wasn’t the one who cheated. If anything, I found JJ’s actions on the night of his birthday slightly manipulative asking her to pick him and stay on his side now that he knows she was the childhood friend when he knew from the beginning what her goal was.
Honestly, FL in this drama is so pretty realistically written. So is the storyline. I’ve expected enemies-to-lovers trope and it’s delivering really really well.
Really? Even with Amidst A Snowstorm on? 😅 not seen either but really waiting to start this one and the other…
Ngl, most likely unpopular opinion, but imo this drama deserves the hype that AASOL is getting. Easy watch, digestible episodes, there’s actual plot, the main leads have their own life purpose, and the crush/romance timeline and arc is so much more realistic and less creepy lol
I can’t believe I’m saying this but this should have had more episodes!!! Like where has Jinman been? What happened to Minhye? Where did Pasin go? What happened to Bale? Jeez 😭 sooo good tho!!!
Like c’mon girly, you saw the future already. Jihyuk never even gotten married in that timeline and you had…
lmao like apparently character development and learning from the past only applies to her old life she’s trying to correct. Next week better correct this 😤

I was holding off on reading the webtoon until after the drama is completed but im about to read it just to get a better satisfaction on how this episode unfolded. Im so upset drama writers are about to ruin this for us 😤
Like c’mon girly, you saw the future already. Jihyuk never even gotten married in that timeline and you had a whole ass husband. Why not take a beat and actually listen to the guy you like explain why there’s an ex-fiancé? Like maybe think a little if maybe chaebols get put into an arranged engagement since very young for business purposes. Or the fact that she’s an EX as it were. Instead of trusting the heart of the guy who has been with you and only put you first this entire journey, you wouldn’t even take a second and hear him out.
Don’t even get me started on when she said the line about no relationship should be ended one-sidedly. 1. The engagement clearly didn’t end 1 sided when the ex-fiance admitted she agreed already. 2. By that logic, she should’ve stayed with minhwan and die a tragic death again. 3. By that logic, then why is she breaking off the relationship with Jihyuk 1 sidedly? Clearly ending a relationship 1 sided is okay if she’s the one suffering and leaving but it’s not okay if Jihyuk is doing it?
And by the way, this same relationship only happened because she insisted with Jihyuk that she wants to be with him and that she won’t regret her decision.
Ugghh im so mad at the writers ruining this perfect storyline!!!
I think LX pretended to be mad at XYC about CY to protect XYC. XYC realized this and said as much to LX in their…
Yeah it’s that but I’m sure she was also miffed. She would be a saint if she wasn’t especially when she was yelled at for losing CY on top of being blind sided by her own fiance poaching her employee and not even telling her about it before it happened.
He should have told her before Cheng Gao handed in his resignation. But you could see he fought his partner on…
LOL least he could’ve done tbh! I think XYC and TX fought over it because they both want to poach CY but don’t want to be in that position to do so. Everybody was so annoying in this episode forreal 😂
I may be alone in this but Lin Xi is a better woman than I am for how she was still civil after that backstabbing, employee-poaching business in Ep. 34. Like how do you expect me to be okay with you poaching my best employee for your own gain without even giving me a heads-up? Nah. But also that head tilt from Lin Xi in the car convo at the end of the episode? Ohhh boy. That’s how you know you’ve said the wrong thing sir.
Ep. 11 now and I’m having such a major beef with this mountain spirit god omg!!! Like I’m so sorry you had such a tragic back story but did you even think to ask if what you think happened is actually what happened or if there is some real misunderstanding about that chain of events? And even so, let’s say what you think actually happened, 1. Aren’t you a god? Why didn’t you use your powers to save her? 2. If you’re so hell bent on revenge, why not just kill them both right there and then? Why wait hundreds of years until they reincarnate and know absolutely nothing about who you are or your story to exact your revenge on people who look like their ancestors but know nothing about the past? And expect them to remember or pay for those sins?
Anyways, he claims he’s no longer the mountain spirit god but still uses his powers playing god in the lives of people who has nothing to do with his tragic love story. He’s supposed to be the mountain spirit god and he shouldn’t have been trifling with human affairs but he already broke that by falling in love with one so waiting hundreds of years just to exact revenge on again, people who has nothing to do with him or his drama, is just so overtly petty.
Cha Eun-woo is getting so much better at acting. Episode 9 at about the 46 minute mark... How many times did I…
Ha! Everybody say what you will about CEW’s acting but one thing the man will deliver is some soft, juicy, and hot make-out scene!!!! Also helps that PGY knows how to kiss as well and not just one of those fish lips leads.
