Lemme just say, it’s been a slightly painful journey but now we’re finally getting the good parts 😭 LX and XYC finally getting together has been good for the soul, shouldve happened sooner for this type of drama but that’s fine!!
Now let me just get to my new complaints/observation. 1. Im on Ep. 29 and I’m so sure that entire Gao family drama has just been all because of the auntie w/ a fuck ass bob constantly being jealous of LX’s mom. This woman has had no shame and her only redeeming quality is her own daughter being nicer than she is. 2. In a world full of childish characters, Tong Xin would’ve been the last person I would’ve pegged to be acting this way. Cus ma’am how are you the most mature character in this drama and you still let hearsay and whispers cloud your judgment and act petty rather than asking CY if he really wanna move out or if he still liked Lin Xi? 3. I really really don’t understand Shasha being so hung up on WT when he literally look like her uncle and she has a cute professor chasing her 💀 Anyway, I’m glad they broke up!! I like WT as a side character to LX and XYC but he’s not a good boyfriend, especially if he decided to date somebody 10+ yrs younger, is known to be high-maintenance, and his own employee.
Sorry, for being out of topic from the drama & to rant here. But I need to clarify many things about Esther Yu…
Thank you for your service 🫡 I’m a Yibo stan but I’ve always loved YSX and will always watch her stuff. Ya’ll are such strong soldiers because those haters just for her existing, whew 😮💨
I feel like this summarizes how I feel/interpret this drama really well. In the first few episodes ML definitely was way too rude but it feels that after that actress case, we can see more how tolerant and patient he could be except for the fact that the Fl is the way she is— too emotional, hard-headed, slow, and oblivious. Ngl its much harder to watch the FL for me than the ML
girlies I’m on episode 16 and if I’m already hitting my head on the wall…WHEN ARE WE GETTING SPARKS? (watching…
omg same!!! I feel like I wanna pull my hair out with the way things are going and I’m at Ep. 17 😭 I just about had it with the ML being so overtly rude sometimes but also the FL being so…. naiive quite often makes me think she deserve the yelling too. I need some hope!!!
Yeah, actually Yue Qi SHUXIN CAN DUB OTHER VOICES but she in line it with the character and the production demand.…
Thank you for all the links! 🤩 I’m glad she’s getting recognized for such an accurate portrayal of the character. I feel like with all her dramas, she’s always used voices according to what she’s supposed to so it’s really unfortunatel that some people are so quick to hate.
I’ve seen clips of YSX do dubbing and I think she’s excellent!!
Many hates Yu Shuxin’s choice of voices she use but as I know she’s also a voice actor, I looked up the Chinese Paladin 6 game just to compare how close she gets to the game’s Yue Qi. I suggest ya’ll to also do the same before you comment negatively about how you feel about her voice in this drama because this is exactly how Yue Qi sounds in the original game the drama is adapted from. Just a kind reminder 😇 Anyway, I just started and so far enjoying!!
I absolutely loved this drama. It showed so much healing and growth and it kinda just gives you so much comfort while following how all the characters evolved throughout their own storylines. Would I have wanted a little bit more of the two other couples? Yes. But other than that, it’s a great watch.

Why am I actually so moved by all the Cho sisters’ love lines 😭 im oddly rooting for Jindal’s ex-husband to win her over again idc!!! But also Yong Pil’s dad is so selfish, imagine choosing your own self-satisfaction over the happiness of your own (38 y/o) son? His wife would beat him up acting like this if she was alive.
Halfway through episode 11 and I’m over Sang Do. I can’t even find anything likeable to this delulu manbro anymore like bro noboday was yours. You didn’t let Yong Pil take your woman. She was never yours to begin with. Your relationship with Sam Dal doesn’t even come close to her relationship with Yong Pil, THEN AND NOW. And if anything, you’re so entitled in your feelings to even think you have a chance at Sam Dal. Delulu is so strong on this one.
Yes that is what really not convinced me with the ending. Doesn't matter about whether it's the past Tae Ha or…
Right! By the time the Joseon bad guys were sentenced or when Joseon Tae Ha passed, I was expecting Chun Myung to show up and talk to her about the situation. Or I was atleast expecting her to seek her out so she can figure out how to go back to Seoul. Instead we just got sad scenes that doesn’t seem to be really of Yeon Woo’s character.
The cliff jumping didn’t confuse me much since to me, it was heavily implied that she was gonna get transported back to Seoul once she hit the water but when they didn’t show the similar process as the first time around I was just confused. Did she just die there? This is also the time when the tree blossoms in Seoul all left and there was a delay when the blossoms came back and when she came back to Seoul so what’s with the delay in transporting back? The whole scene just made me extra confused and it made me think he was just imagining her. Then the end wedding like where is everybody?
After TH saw the petals, I was wholeheartedly expecting to hear loud splashes and panting from YW in the pool…
Me too!! Instead, I was just left confused if she was actually back or she was just a pigment of his imagination. Then the whole end wedding was also just confusing and pointless.
I liked this drama until 1/3rd into the last episode and then it just dragged. And then that ending was just so so mediocre and questionable. Listen, I don’t even care about the Joseon Tae Ha vs. Seoul Tae Ha discourse going on here cus I get what they are trying to do with that. Im more bothered by the fact that we got 20 minutes of pointless sad loner vibes and a weird Seoul comeback (cus why is she in a different hanbok? Why is she not coming from the pool?) at the last minute instead of them just bringing her back to Seoul sooner and wrapping every storyline up nicely in that 20 minutes.
Who else is annoyed at the Sang-do storyline? LOL It’s so unnecessary and he feels so pathetic “declaring war” for something he has no chance over. I can’t stand 2MLs who doesn’t know when to back off but this is even worse when he thinks he has a chance for some reason? Instead of being the successful, supportive friend that he is now, he just seems to be more isolated and delulu. Hate that for him.
