That whole moment of heavy breathing, looking at each other, looking at everywhere else, and fumbling around was such a chef’s kiss moment topped by that very good kissing scene fr 😭😍

Okay, not gonna talk about the overall drama because honestly, it’s either you like a slow drama or you don’t. But I wanna talk about a few things:

1. Am I the only one who wished they developed the 2nd cp more? Since they already introduced and spent an episode or two telling us about the 2nd cp, I feel like they shouldve just made it a complete story. Did they end up getting married? Did they even date at all? How did the kid react to them getting married? What’s gonna be their living situation?

2. The kids! I have such an issue with the way this show keeps introducing kids to the story for funsies and just toss them out of the picture like they don’t exist? Like how is it possible that the 2 main female caretaker of the kid went on a roadtrip and not mentioned once where the kid is?

3. The dads! Oh, the dads. I’m so confused at the sudden change of both of the dads’ attitudes without seeing an explanation as to what was going on.

4. The Qinan SWAT squad. You cannot honestly tell me that there is a whole training facility in Qinan and hundereds of SWAT people but the 7 people closest to Lu Chen, who we (as watchers) have gotten to know, couldn’t get a day off to go to their Captain’s wedding? Instead we got to see hi random SWAT buddies from his new squad?

Anyways, I feel like there’s so much plot holes in this drama, but it’s still a pretty good drama to watch (maybe not as a binge tho). Although, personally, I don’t think all those random flashbacks were so unnecessary for the story to move. I feel like we get the gist of what happened the first few flashbacks that the rest of the flashbacks seemed so repetitive. They could’ve spent a couple episodes in the beginning for a full flashback to tell the whole story instead of peppering the flashbacks randomly that we miss some big background to the present story. Like how were they dating already out of nowhere when before the flashback happened, he just told her that he fixed the debt/engagement issue? They probably could’ve done away with less episodes too. BUT it is what it is.

omg it’s both of their dads!! I was so confused how they were both changed men all of a sudden out of nowhere.

OMFG THANK YOU!! Everybody I know who watches it feels bad for him but he’s just pissing me off!! He voluntarily went on a dating show and he’s literally the most sought after guy in the house only for him to keep doing NOTHING!! While PMJ and Xiao Zhu are literally both fighting for their lives out here. He only finally decides to show interest when ZXS told him he was her type initially, but when he finally show interest he literally does the bare minimum and expects things to work out. Like everybody in the house sees he’s visibly upset too like all the time. I’ve been wanting to like him but he’s just annoying me at this point 🙄

My queen Yoo In Na never disappoints me. So excited for this cute romcom 🥰

Okay I’m glad we all agree on the characters to hate the most because I feel like almost 85% of the characters in this drama are so unlikable 💀 But I haven’t seen anybody bring up the FL’s brother. He definitely makes the top 5 most annoying/ most infuriating / most hateable character for me. And it’s very subtle too. Like first of all, the AUDACITY for this man to even give an ounce of opinion about what his sister should do with her pregnancy when 1) He literally got someone pregnant in high school, 2)He literally has a child as a single father, and 3) literally the sister feeds their entire family.

Okay, I binged 3 episodes and I take it back!!! I’m very confident in 实名CP! PMJ is such a smooth operator 😮‍💨 and 3 episodes is overflowing of sweetness!

That Ep. 4 preview tho 👀 All I’m saying is I feel like PMJ does not deserve ZRX stabbing him in the back going after the same girl when they literally have a bromance going on! 😭😭 I know its part of the reality of the show but dont make me hate you Lao Zhang!!!

It was not necessary for Mafi to die. Wtf 😤 Why give his character such a complex backstory if that was gonna be his ending? Ugh 🙄

Definitely watch this!! Don’t let the tag scare you, it was such a slow burn romance and its not the typical ML chasing the FL. Overall it feels like they both felt feelings about each other, the ML just had a bit of a headstart.

This might be a hot take here but I immensely enjoyed this drama. It was so beautiful, especially the 2nd part of the drama, that I don’t even care about plot holes 😂 I also waited to binge the last 4 episodes and I think that was such a good idea because it was such a rollercoaster ride for me and I was a sobbing mess for 4 and half hours. This drama has been so funny too. And Kim Jung Hyun was, as usual, such a brilliant actor to watch. Even if this was the first I fully watched Im Soohyang’s drama, I also really enjoyed her. The ending was fantastic too.

The 2 sidekicks are basically minor gods. In the first few episodes they were introduced during the backstory, when Kokdu was suffering and the creator was explaining to him how he will be freed, he basically said that those two minor gods will accompany him. The woman is the god of gossip and the man is god of wealth or money (I dont remember exactly what gods they used but this is the gist). In the mortal world, the man’s credential is basically a chaebol and the woman was an influencer or an online persona. Kokdu being on Earth usually doesnt need explaining much because he steps into the life of the person’s body that just died (aka Oh Hyun’s reincarnation).

Yeah, sad because their idol survival shows (tho a direct copy from korea) are actually really good.
