Yup, I’m seeing a lot of this comment here too. You’d think after that sad event in YZM’s life late in the drama, they will finally get some fun romantic scenes but it just took a sharp turn lol

100% this is why. But now some folks are just unhappy with the way the drama went overall.

You don’t need to explain what mature romance means because we all know what that means. Nor was I also talking about explicit scenes. We all watch cdramas here, we all know what censorship is. But clearly you’re not understanding what I was saying because I already said that although there is romance, it wasn’t the center of the drama as the synopsis and pre-heat implied it to be.

I already said we can agree to disagree on this but I really don’t care much to have a back and forth with someone who just camps in the comment section shoving their opinions on others with different opinions. Have the day you deserve :)

No it’s not. It has mature romance, sure. But it’s clearly not the main theme of the drama given the way things unfolded in the last third of the drama. You’re already contradicting yourself the way you say this is mature romance but the promotion is family drama LOL

Also as I said, the synopsis for the drama clearly emphasize the romance bit but should’ve emphasize more the mother/daughter bit. And the posters/ clips being used as promo definitely leaned more into the romance. We can agree to disagree, that’s fine.

Given the way things have been going in the past few episodes, I’m not surprised at all how this ended but man, that was so meh. My issue with this drama now is I wish they didn’t promote it as a mature romance when it wasn’t that. I now know the source material focuses on mother/daughter story but the promo for this drama + the whole synopsis has been surrounding the growth and romance between the 2 main leads. It’s very disappointing to dive into a drama expecting one thing and getting something else entirely.

Omg I love this drama so much 😭😭😭 It feels so different but feel so familiar at the same time. I love the bits and pieces of their childhood and Zhou Yutong is made to be Zhang Jie, I love her in this 😭

Eun Song and his fake teeth are beyond insane, it can only be psychopathic. I thought this when he tried to have a dinner date with her after threatening her but this is insanity and I’m so over him winning 😤

omg this mother never learns. It’s almost the end of the show and she’s still full of the drama. Everytime she’s told to stop or not do anything, she does the complete opposite then gaslights her children when they get upset at her for not listening to them. Makes me wanna scream

they better not drag this drama into angst territory 😤

They cut 2 episodes as required to be screened for CCTV8 unfortunately 😔 Those 2 episodes must contain so much given how the last few episodes definitely feel a bit rushed.

Leave it to antis to actively root for a drama's downfall than just root for their own idols 😔 7.8 is already high for doubt but hopefully it goes higher as many more people review it.
