Some people got into this drama expecting some dark romance or something and can't handle a psychological thriller that tests your limits and morals. I mean someone could say it has its flaws but you still can't deny it's not something usual for a kdrama.

It's interesting how a lot of people keep saying she's a psychopath when every single trait she has shown belongs to a sociopath. I feel like you guys are confused because of her calculative side but honestly she's not even that calculative. She's just a really good opportunist and she changes plans way too often to be called a psychopath. Also she's driven by her emotions too easily and everything she does are things she learned from her environment growing up. @Lyla generally has expained it well in her comment.

For the drama yes but that's how the webtoon starts( in the drama when she's on the red carpet) so maybe that's why they put it in the description too. And maybe because the webtoon was popular in korea they didn't regard it as a spoiler

She literally didn't said that lol people have always loved villain characters in stories. It's not anything new. Ahjin is not a good person and will probably have a bad ending for her but she's interesting to watch as a character and i want to see what she's gonna do next and how far she will go from her pov. She's indeed very intriguing.

Since it's written by the creator herself i don't think they'll romanticize her but i hope she doesn't change the story

They started filming in May and they'll continue till January from what i know. But they're also doing the editing simultaneously, so i don't think there will be any delays for the drama

I saw some leaks and it seems like they didn't. And honestly i don't mind it. Since most of the cast doesn't look like the characters, a hair dye will not really help. It'll make them look more unnatural

Seung Yeon will be a character who is 'fated' to be queen(ig from a noble family too). Her family has produced 4 queens in the past and she never once doubted that she would become the queen. She chose the fate of a queen over herself. I'm kinda afraid she will be a bad character but i hope not.

Then i hope all her scenes were kept in the drama and that it will have a positive effect on her carrier to get better scripts from good productions. I'm sad that she has to work again to get where she was..
