it was good the first half then kinda get draggy around the middle then picked up again towards the end. Romance did not work for me. I think the 2nd male lead (Lee Joon) has more chemistry with MC (Choi Ji Woo).
it was ok, but do felt i was misled by the title. Main lead was far from being a prosecutor. He only stepped in a courtroom maybe twice, idk. He spend most of his time interrogating suspect and visiting crime scene. Action sequences were decent enough. My favorite character here is the detective (Lee Won Jong) and that forensic guy (Kim Joo Young ❤❤❤)
dropping this after seeing 2 episodes, not because its not good, but its far from what i want from a medical drama. I really like the friendship and chemistry of the five leads here. my favorite character is the girl, she got a strong backstory that made her want to be a forensic doctor. If you are looking for forensic drama involving crimes, this is not it. Its more of slice of life drama focusing on the family of the deceased one. The main lead act more than a support group from a welfare office than a real forensic expert lol. If only they added a little mystery and crime solving, i might stay... btw the 2male leads are bae :)) Ikuta Toma and Eita :))
stay away from this drama. i got robbed of my precious 20 hours TT. Jun Kwang Ryul is the only one who saved this drama for me. pairing were awkward AF. for a crime/mystery/police drama, this one is actually bordering to being melodrama - camera shots, dialogue, scoring - very melodramatic. Male lead acts like a 7th grader who fights his bullies. Very loud and emotional. Both female lead started as fierce lady ended up weaker as the drama progresses. There's nothing much of character development. And that fictional forensic agency is a mess. Autopsies and forensic procedure is cringeworthy. 5/10
its a good watch, not great but enjoyable. not the best ive seen in action sequences but passable. honestly some parts were kinda dragging and made me fall asleep. it took me almost a year to finish all three movies. im gonna be generous and will give this 8/10 just because they did put an effort to make it visually appealing :)
rated this 8/10 just because im biased with the 3 main lead - Park Yoo Chun, Shin Se Kyung and ❤Nam Goong Min ❤. If any other cast 6/10. Plot is strong, but the execution is all over the place. They want to be funny at the same time dark. Ive seen same concept with SWDBS, unfortunately this one fall behind in the execution. Still worth the watch and recommendable for anyone who enjoys police drama.
if you mix Dongyi and 38TaskForce, this is what you get. Never failed to keep me hanging on the edge of my seat. Every episode ended just in the right moment that will keep you watching for more. Plot is strong and interesting but they sure drag that main plot till the very end. Ive seen a few sageuks ( with 50+episode) , the drag on this one is kinda torture for me. Lots of flashback, like every 15 mins. Lots of filler scenes too. Whenever something happened, all the cast will somehow talk about it in different places, in different times, which makes it redundant. Side plot for the secondary characters didnt actually add up to the main plot and feels unecessary, its entertaining but not strong enough to actually help in the main plot. Im glad that they did not focus much on the romance, because its not working for me. Female lead (Jin SeYeon) did a decent job on her fight scenes but far from Ha Ji Won (she is my standard for female action star) I find the male lead (Go Soo) acting awkward and sometimes lacking. The actor who outshined everyone here is the main female antagonist (Park JooMi). I actually feel that she carried the whole show for me. Such a strong performance from her. 7.5 for enjoyment.
i actually lol'd at your first sentence "Simply the best drama about boy's love you'll ever find" . looks like you haven't seen enough. There's a lot of BL themed dramas/movies there you haven't seen yet.
cant believe it took me a year to finish this. dropped this halfway because of the blatant placement ad. IMO Frame and Book (secondary leads) outshined the main leads :( it has its fun moments even though acting were a little awkward due to (i guess) amateur actors
a breather from your typical sageuks. I swear the first few episodes feels like a skit from Saturday Night Live, it was hilarious and crazy. As the story progresses, the plot slowly unfolds its serious side. 20 episodes but only runs for 30mins/episode. Fast paced and very entertaining. 8/10 for enjoyment
I love it! its not perfect but i enjoyed this one. The characters at first were annoying AF but as the drama progresses, their character changes and will start to grow on you. With its 50 episodes its not impossible to get attached to the main lead (and some of the characters). More than a drama, it is a journey. It will let you experience how the main lead become one of the known physician in Ming Dynasty. I love how she transformed from being a sweet hardheaded daughter to a fierce passionate physician. If you plan to watch this, get your lifeboats ready cause my ships sank a few times. There were plot holes and life decision here that only work in dramaland. Overall i'm satisfied but not something i will rewatch. 8/10 for enjoyment
done! i might get a lot of hate on what i was about to say but i have to say it. I expected too much from this and i was not that happy about it. I think this drama were over-hyped. I did enjoyed the first five episode, and then it just continue to fall flat story/plot wise towards the end. Those eye candies help a little bit for me to endure finishing this and thats it. Those who are just after the cast might enjoy this very much, but for me i have different expectation for a sageuk. 7.5/10 for enjoyment
