I hope this means the priority will still and always be to provide the volunteers who sub and segment, with better quality systems and a good environment to work with. Without volunteers, there's no viki and there's no fast and quality subbing. All the possible changes should always have the volunteers in mind; to give them credit and appreciation.
Started watching via dramacrazy - GONE, youtube - GONE, where are you watching this? I got up to ep5 subbed, would…
It's on gooddrama :)

It's definitely tiresome when you're not enjoying a drama but you still insist, hoping something there will make you finish it. The world definitely feels bigger on jdramas, there's a wider universe of themes and stuff to choose from, I think. I just caught up a bit with Master's Sun (until Ep4) and it's a nice viewing. It's fun, I still love the two leads together, but somehow I get distracted very easily when the plot switches to the secondary stuff. We'll see :)

Definitely :D Even though my first drama was a jdrama, I kind of never really watched the recent 'classics' (if we can call them that) or the ones I always was curious to check out. The less and shorter episodes format definitely appeals to me more right now, because I'm not as patient with a drama as I was before, I think. I guess with a few disappointments here and there you start to doubt if you really wanna jump into a 30+ episode drama for example.

No worries at all, it's normal to feel like that after the having some vacations :)
I'm also having bits of slumps, mostly with kdramas. I was planning on watching a few of those that started recently (Master's Sun, Good Doctor, Two Weeks, etc) but ended up not watching any of those. I honestly understand why you feel that way regarding MS, I've only seen the first 2 eps, but I'm not too crazy about it.
Thank you for your compliments on my reviews :D tbh I feel quite insecure with them because I'm never sure how to exactly organize my thoughts, then I end up not remembering what I wanted to say and it comes out very messy. I'm glad they were useful to you somehow, though :)
Due to my current kdrama status, I've been mostly watching jdramas (loving Woman and Hanzawa Naoki) - & as filler, I'm now in the middle of a Tumbling marathon and oh my! I'm absolutely loving it :D
Yes :) It's your usual weekend kdrama, with all the tropes and a bit of insanity, but it's not a -bad- drama by all means. If the episode count doesn't scare you, it'll keep you entertained, imo :)
Anyone else really annoyed that Nika thought she was RAPED, never tells Arata, the whole episode ends up being…
Yes. That and the fact that two "rape" plots happened in a row; first the evil gangsters and then, right the next episode, the psycho hairstylists. I thought it was also copying season 1 a bit, when Arata jumped into conclusions regarding what Nika had been doing (first the forced kiss by the teacher and then the situation with Kurosawa). It was a funny season still, but the use of the almost rape storyline(s) was too much.
Is this drama worth watching? People say it's boring and not THAT good ._.
Depends on your definition of 'boring'. It's slow paced at times but still quite thrilling. I never skipped any scenes or was bored at all, but again it's a personal perspective. You'll never know if you don't try at least the first few episodes.
The only thing that it lacked for me was more closure for the secondary characters at the end. They could have showed us Yi Hyeon, Soo Hyeon, everyone else - after he died. I think it was important to see those people, who mattered so much to him, being able to carry on with their lives; and then end with the Hae Woo scene, which I thought was beautiful. I gave it a 7 because I still considered my viewing quite casual and not much emotionally involved, but it's a good drama nonetheless.
Hyuntae basically resolved the whole plot of the drama a few episodes ago when he mentioned that Yoona and Monghee might be twins AND they might both be adopted. Nobody ever listens to him :P
Yes, except the first episode which runs for 1h45min, more or less.

I was reading the first review of Ikemen Desu Ne and after finding it so awesome and spot on, I realized it was yours and I just :D your reviews are always great and while I'm still watching that drama (I plan on finishing it today after starting it a few hours ago!), I'm already loving it way more than the original essentially because of what you wrote as well.
Excited for Secret (Hwang Jung Eum is Queen) and Will You Love and Give it Away, since I'll need my weekly dose…
It might be a crazy drama, but for some reason I could never drop it, it's been too long. Now I'll see it until the end, for sure :) Hopefully we'll get a good ending.
Lovely article :D And I so agree with the Code Blue one. Come on, they have awesome chemistry and the cold guy/insecure girl trope in this case had everything to be awesome. They have a few great elevator scenes, though. I still have yet to watch S2, but sigh.
Also thank you for the others, I took a few to check out later!
Excited for Secret (Hwang Jung Eum is Queen) and Will You Love and Give it Away, since I'll need my weekly dose of family drama crazy after ISYG ends; the plot sounds cute and I like the two confirmed actors. I cast of Tears of Heaven appeals to me as well, and since I haven't seen any of tvN's dailies yet, I might try it out.
My only ~thing with this drama so far is that every single twist and machination feels unexceptional. There's…
"makjang :: a sylistic, tonal, or narrative element in dramas that chooses to play up outrageous storylines to keep viewers hooked despite how ridiculous the stories become (adultery, revenge, rape, birth secrets, fatal illnesses, and flirting with incest possibilities are some makjang favorites). Shows can be part of a makjang class of dramas (Wife’s Temptation is a makjang series), or they can have makjang tendencies (Mary Stayed Out All Night went makjang toward the end). Generally considered a negative thing (“Gah, how makjang can you get?”), unless a drama intentionally embraces the style (such as Baker King Kim Tak-gu or Flames of Desire)." cr: dramabeans
When I first started watching dramas I would cringe at these scenes, but now I'm used to it :) my favourite of those is the one on Missing You: they are so cute and they talked about that kiss a lot, especially Kim So Hyun (apparently it was her first kiss).
