If not for KSH's scandal, this drama would be airing during the USA-China tariff spat. And Chinese companies who make the legitimate (not knockoff) high-end brands like Birkin, YSL, etc. are now selling luxury products at cost. Eg. a $34,000 Birkin bag is being sold (without the Birkin logo, but otherwise identical) for $1400. Lululemon pants cost $5, and $150 Birkenstock sandals for $10 (These prices are from memory, figures are approximate. Lots of YouTube videos and news articles are covering this.)
Anyway, I am trying to imagine how that would affect this series were it actually airing, as intended.
We don't see any other free agent pets acting like Som-i, who appears on her own. She's young, remains human, isn't noticed by operations, and stalks her owner.
Unlike the other pets who arrive before their humans, Som-i isn't tracked by operations or presented to her owner. Unlike the other pets who arrive before their humans, she is young, not old. Unlike the other pets who arrive before their humans, Som I doesn't revert to her animal form after meeting her owner. (Hae Suk gets a flash of recognition, but it is differnet than what occurs during the other owner/pet reunions.) Also, the pets who arrive after their owners remain pets throughout. They don't turn into humans at all.
Fans of Song Joong Ki will enjoy his episode (s2ep04) on 'Chef & My Fridge' aka 'Please Take Care of My Refrigerator'. The actor IRL splits his time between SK & Italy, so his two head-to-head chefs battles were titled 'Perilla Oil' & 'Olive Oil'.
No mention of the similarly-named actor was needed for this headline to bring to mind his status in the public zeitgeist as a scandal-ridden falling-star cautionary-tale.
They postponed the release date indefinitely and now they have stopped filming indefinitely. Up until now they…
"Amidst his controversy, the production team is reportedly discussing breach-of-contract penalties. Industry speculation suggests the fee could be as high as ₩180 billion KRW (about $126 million USD) — seemingly three times the show’s budget — but no official figure has been confirmed."

How do you get ghosts to pay? You can't get them to stamp or sign a contract or even handshake! Can he charge them upfront? Don't ghosts tend to dissipate or float away as soon as the job is done? Hopefully we will see him digging up a playground or park to recover a ghost's hidden treasure!
I've given up trying to make sense of ratings on this site
Watch it for the stellar performance of the FL. She's amazing. Whether the rest of the production adequately serves her & deserves her—or not—remains to be seen. We're still only at the beginning, yet. (Only 2 eps of 12 have aired.)
I'm still stalled on episode 7. The show I was watching became something else while the characters moved faster than their words. After the tiger I found myself suddenly trapped in some other show, an overly-long frozen-in-time meet-cute cringe-fest sitcom. Ugh. Pause. Touch grass. Play. Watch for one minute. Pause.
Anyone with three divorces should be able to convey what they want and don't want and not mince words. Then again, the fact that he cannot manage this is sufficient to explain his serial marriage failures.
Pause. Touch grass. Post comment. This may take me a while.
KSH continues to maintain a low profile while his fans buy digital flowers on MDL & rally on the netz. None of the actor's brand-clients have reversed their decisions to cancel advertising contracts, and no casting news of any upcoming roles have been announced. Knock Off (D+ Korea) remains in limbo. The first season is complete but was removed from the schedule, and production of season 2 has been cancelled.
KSR's family is likewise laying low, awaiting the outcome of various lawsuits filed both by them and against them. The Garosero Research Institute YouTuber Kim Se Ui affirmed his confidence during a recent livestream in winning the 12B krw lawsuit filed by KSH against him along with & the bereaved family of KSR. He reminded the actor that all of this could have been avoided with a simple mea culpa apology.
Some people keep saying he is "proven" to be innocent, but when asked for source, they sadly go completely quiet.…
His fans need only cite the global luxury brands represented by the CF King. And then they can list the slate of upcoming dramas he is cast to star in.
