I thought Lee Do Hyun was underutilized in The Glory but he completely shines in this along with Ra Mi Ran. Stellar acting from both and definitely deserving of all of the awards.
Honestly not as bad as the comments are making it out to be! The leads have cute chemistry and Ji Yu is just a ball of sunshine (although I wish he had gotten more since the focus was mainly on Ki Hoon). I think if they had done proper kiss scenes it would have been electrifying since the chemistry was clearly there but still honestly not the worst dead fish kiss.
For those complaining about dead fish kisses early Thai BLs did the same thing. Most KBLs have decent kisses nowadays but these smaller budget ones tends to be the worst offenders. At least it’s not a camera angle kiss those are even worse. Kisses aside I did enjoy this one.
It was actually pretty good until they decided to write off the explicit romance part. But I’ll take it more as an unspoken love kind of thing rather than bromance considering the time and setting of the drama. Even though they didn’t show or say it with a kiss I did feel their love for each other in the way that they looked at each other. To me the SML was the most interesting thing about the drama though. The actor really brought his pain and trauma to life.
Short, simple and sweet. Not everything has to be a long narrative. The leads were super cute together. SK is really killing the BL game right now by giving us so much variety. You can see the passion through the cinematography too.
Don’t underestimate the popularity of KBLs because they’re watched almost as much as mainstream kdramas at this point. Hopefully KBLs will continue to grow and start getting higher budgets and longer run times because the audience is definitely there.
A re-re-edited movie version of this show will be released again very soon sometime this year (no date yet) and will be showcased at CGV theaters. The two leads have been seen together recording in the studio so there may be new voice work. They might also be refilming some new scenes (they shared some bts photos on their socials and have the same exact hairstyles as their characters pre time skip) but no confirmation yet.

The chemistry, energy, vibe, tension and mutual attraction between Jae Won and Ji Hyun was EVERYTHING. Their connection was soulmate-like like one of those fall in love at first sight kind of moments. They knew they connected the moment they saw each other and it was magical.
I’m starting this one now but can we just talk about the fact that it’s over 6 hrs long. I remember when we only got 1-2 hr KBLs. Now they’re 4+ hrs and gradually increasing in budget too. I’ll definitely be looking forward to see what SK can do in the future with their passion for film and dramas.
This season is all angst and melodrama and I’m here for it. It hurt but it hurt so good. I understand people may find Ji Woo a bit frustrating but truthfully we all have our own struggles and demons that we have to fight through and although it took him a long time I’m happy that he finally let it all out in the end. Seo Joon was really the sweetest and his honesty and bluntness with his feelings was really the yang to Ji Woo’s yin.
If only people knew how hard Jiwoong had to work to get to where he is today. He’s still young but has experienced so many ups and downs in the industry already. He never tried to hide his BL projects and they might be why he got so much support too. Here’s to hoping he’ll finally attain the success he deserves.

You have to remember it’s also a sign of the times. Of course there are better KBLs currently but when this came out it it truly changed the genre. It’s probably the most watched KBL too with almost 50k ratings
This felt more like a traditional kdrama with two male leads...which was actually kind of nice. Kdramas always deliver on the romance and this drama does as well. I think the second lead couple did have more chemistry (even though they barely got any screen time) but the two male leads were solid as well. I did have some qualms about the kiss scenes...but they don’t make or break a drama for me so it’s okay.
Ch 3 needs to pair up Namtarn and Puen again! Their chemistry is as good as Mark and Yaya’s. Also the ratings for this drama continue to rise everyday and is pretty high for a Thai lakorn so congrats! Hope more people will give it a chance and watch it because it’s one of the best Thai lakorns in my opinion. I think a Korean adaptation would be pretty cool to see too because the FL is badass and the past ML is the sweetest.

Yup notice how some of the highest rated shows on this site are just the popular mainstream ones. They’re only high because they have more viewers giving them higher ratings, it doesn’t always reflect the quality of the show. That’s why I just watch for myself and decide whether or not I like something.
I actually really liked this one! People are too hypercritical these days when it comes to BL’s hence the lower ratings for a majority of them. Even Semantic Error’s ratings are on the lower end despite being one of the better ones. I just take this one as a cute short love story and for me it delievered. The leads had good chemistry and PYW shows great promise as an actor. I wished the ending could have gone differently but I honestly didn’t hate it either. Their minds might not remember but their hearts always will.

There was a flashback so it was easy to miss but the director wasn’t going to renew his contract aka throw him away. I feel bad for him but at the same time he wasn’t perfect either. He definitely needed some help, it’s a shame he never got any redemption.
Japan proving again why they own the death game genre. S2 was thrilling, fast paced and full of action but made sure to give little moments to all of the characters too. There are still some unanswered questions but I think if they decide to end it here it’d be totally fine too. Hoping for success and the very best for this show.
