I’m so glad they got Jung So Min to make a small cameo. I know they wanted to avoid bringing in her too much because of the actress swap but the character should always be prioritized first and she was in this case. I’m glad they didn’t try to erase her existence but instead gave her a nice little send off. She was Naksu but the current Bu Yeon is Naksu too. People need to understand that Mu Deok/Naksu/current Bu Yeon are literally all the same person. It’s the idea that Uk is in love with her soul not her shell. It might be hard to accept because current Bu Yeon is still in her amnesia phase but GYJ has been doing a great job of capturing Naksu as Mu Deok so far. She must have been studying JSM’s version because she brings the same nuances. I just hope we get assassin Naksu back soon so everything will click into place.
The love triangle reminds me a bit of Light on Me. I do think Jung Woo ended up with the right person for him but I think it’s a bit unfair that Jung Hyun never really got a chance either. Maybe I just have a thing for flawed characters because they actually give you a reason to root for them, to see them become a better version of themself for the person they love.
The couples were cute together but that’s about it. It has an interesting synopsis but there was no plot, tension, or follow through. I would have liked to see a little more chasing by Lian/Hia, more resistance by Kuea and more back and forth between them overall.
"Hey babe, I learned that you're the chairman's son. I think the office might talk about us, or we'll end up in…
They didn’t explain that part very well but I think he ran away more so because of the class difference and in a way out of love because he knows the expectations that most chaebol families have and he didn’t want to put that on Ho Joon.
So happy they finally got a happy ending :,(. They had great chemistry in Kissable Lips and it transfers well over to this one too. What I liked most about this drama is that the characters actually got time to breathe and fall in love at the same time. Often in shorter KBL’s (less than 2 hrs) everything feels rushed but with the 4 hr run time we actually got to see the characters do things as individuals. They get to focus on their dreams, aspirations and most importantly themselves. For once it didn’t feel like it was only about the romance. They helped each other learn, grow and as love usually does made them want to become better versions of themselves.
I’m shocked that not many have watched this one yet. Yes there’s documentaries and the movie Amazon did too but this one was a lot longer at six over hours long so you get to see more of what it actually took to get those boys home. It was amazing to see everyone from everywhere come together to save those boys. The heart of the show was definitely the coach. Beam (rest his soul) was just mesmerizing to watch. Although he is no longer with us he’ll always be remembered.
About the ending...did Tin actually wake up from his coma because they didn’t really show him doing so? Maybe…
That makes sense. I thought he was gone gone or they were taking him back to the hospital or something. I get that they wanted to keep it a surprise but if they just showed a small scene where he moved his fingers or something everything would’ve came together. But it’s just a little nitpicking from me. I’m still glad he’s alive and that they’re together. ❤️
I know that the last loop was messy, hurried or not well planned, in everything it matches the theme. It is not…
To be fair he had the intact memory and knowledge (journal) unlike Tin who had to start from scratch every time even with the journal. That’s why Rinta said the journal was cheating. It was probably why he only got once chance too.
Ok I just finished this one and it was so good! Really well written. Time loops are really tricky to pull off…
About the ending...did Tin actually wake up from his coma because they didn’t really show him doing so? Maybe I missed it. I’m just going to believe they’re together and happy and that it’s not another time loop.
Ok I just finished this one and it was so good! Really well written. Time loops are really tricky to pull off since they require very thorough planning. You can’t forget anything either, every small detail matters and I have to say they pulled it off quite well! There was one scene in particular where everything just clicked for me (when Tol visits Tin). The ending left me a bit confused though...I’ll mark it as spoiler below.
I still remember Tae and Tee from the original 2 Moons. Although they were not a couple (yet) in that one I’m glad to see them paired up here. They have surprisingly a lot of fan fiction together lol
Ok I know it might be a bit taboo for some especially SK but why couldn’t she end up with both of them? Poly relationships exist and they could have explored that here. It didn’t even stay true to the source material either so if they’re going to deviate at least make sure you don’t become a disservice to the original.
Despite a strong start they tried too hard to make this a high budget epic fantasy drama it just kind of loses itself and becomes slow and repetitive. It would’ve been a lot better at just 8 episodes. Sometimes less is more and this kind of proves it.
For the positives I did enjoy the interactions between the ragtag family and the music. The music was the standout and best thing about this drama. Props to the music director.
Is there any way we can convince someone to sub this one? Does neko take requests by any chance? Such a shame there’s still no subs after all this time :(.
It actually started off pretty good but started to drag a bit towards the end. So many crazy female characters in this one (more than usual too) but that’s a lakorn for you. Ch 7 lakorns to me are so excessively over the top haha.
The main couple was cute but my favorite moments were between the father and son. The way he loved little Orca unconditionally and became both his mom and dad really touched my heart.
I only finished this drama because of the main couple. It’s a melodrama so expect it to be somber in tone but there are cute and heart fluttering moments between the leads. One thing I did enjoy was how honest the FL lead was with the ML. It was refreshing to see two adults talk through stuff instead of just being angry or upset at each other. A bit slow overall but still worth watching if you like the leads.
Park Eun Bin was mesmerizing in this. She’s always been good but she was truly extraordinary in this. The acting saved/carried the show in my opinion. Some of the later cases just were not as intriguing. My favorite cases were probably the first one, the wedding dress one and the lottery one.
My biggest issue with this drama is the lack of development for the ML. He felt more like a supporting character and like JUST the love interest created for the FL. He barely got any screen time and when he did it was only with the FL. Don’t get me wrong KTH was super cute and charming but his character literally had nothing to do. He just sat and smiled in the background most of the time or dashingly brought in some papers....Even the team leader and rude lawyer got more development and screen time than him.
