Yes sadly. The biggest sci-fi franchise in China right now is Wandering Earth movie based on the same novel by Liu Cixin. He wrote Three-Body Problem as well. Heard they'll make it into movie. Imagine if ZZH can play there.
As for peacekeeping unit movie, that's more to government project (from what I heard) and I doubt the actors got paid too hahaha. ZZH is someone who's good at acting IF he likes the script, he has creative freedom (like we see in WOH) and the director knows what he wants. He's already a decade plus in the industry and after WOH I think he deserves a good script.

GJ is filming his upcoming suspense/romance drama now. While ZZH, I don't know if he already finished filming the movie or not (the one with Huang Jingyu and WYB).
GJ fan support bought them. They said they are going to give it to GJ as a present because in the interview GJ said he likes the red costume. If you are comparing western artists and artists in China, it's totally two different market. Yes true, in the west, many celebrities don't want to tie him/herself too much to brand endorsement because of their image, but in China they live and breathe with endorsement. The reason is fan-economy. China’s culture of celebrity worship is the key. In the west, I think there's no such thing. This fan culture led to revenue generation for brand endorsement because fans would buy anything that their idol has endorsed. For example the latest Tom Ford lipstick endorsement for GJ/ZZH sold out in 1 seconds for 15K pieces pre-order and 11K pcs on e-commerce Taobao for less than 1 minutes.
As for the styling, you might see that c-celebrities mixed and match style and often wear fashion intended for different gender. It's normal there, especially when they endorse the brand. For example TU star, WYB wore Chanel blazer for women in the last Weibo Night award back in February this year. It's normal, nobody said the blazer is for woman then male star can't wear it. It's because his endorsement and guess what? The blazers are sold out everywhere in China. Lol.
Style and make-up for Chinese celebrities might be different from western celebrities, but hey everyone can experiment their own style right? and also in China, celebrity stylist sometimes got clothing from brands for the artist to wear (for free). The reason? Please refer to fan-economy, hahaha.

Ok, first of all sorry to write this post. I admit I watch the show because of ZZH and this is purely my opinion about ZZH acting. I'm ZZH fan and my post is my thought about his acting here. Please feel free to disagree :)
Zhang Zhehan oh Zhang Zhehan, I watched him in Yunxi, Ruyi then recently Word of Honor. When I watched this drama I can tell this is the weakest acting and the weakest drama that he ever played. I don't understand why he accepted this script? Is it because his company sponsoring it? or is it simply because the shooting location is in France (lol)? or is it because he wanted to try light and cliché story?
Regardless, this drama is not for him and I can tell he's not happy portraying the character. His acting is so so and sometimes I feel that his soul isn't into his character. His chemistry with his co-star (FL) is weak and this is the weakest chemistry I've seen him with his co-star. I don't understand Zhang laoshi, why?
As for the other actors, I can't say much because to be honest I can't compare their acting with their other projects. I didn't watch their acting before this drama or after this drama, so it's fair that I shouldn't say much.
Overall thoughts: If you watch this for ZZH, please take it slow and don't expect too much. I was wrong to expect too much and to set my high standard for ZZH acting after WOH, but at the end this drama failed my expectation. But if you are here for watching ZZH being handsome (like I did), handsome 2nd ML also gorgeous FL, here you go, this drama has all :)

I think it's because his image as ZZS is now having high fan engagement. According to last data, ZZH is #4 now in terms of fan engagement and commercial value. It's all because he played as ZZS in WOH. So, it's no brainer that brands he engaged using this image to attract their target market. Same goes with GJ. If you go to weibo, you can see him endorsing several brands having him carrying a fan like WKX.
