How sad is that, right?! I agree with you. What I read about China authority censorship details, it's not just about story but the point of nationalism and realism that certain drama can bring as added value especially when it's relating to "costume drama."

TU is different compare to SHL/WOH. Personally it's a challenge for me to continue watching TU after episode 2 because 30 episode of flashback is quite something. It took almost 2 months for me to complete TU because 50 episodes is just long. But if you like visual, TU is serving you with gorgeous visual and gorgeous male leads too. But for the story, I would prefer to listen to MDZS audio drama version and read the original source.
For your information, TU budget is 4 times of WOH so visually and post production wise, they are much better compare to WOH/SHL hahah...

For me it's ok if you want to rate down or up the drama, it's based on personal preference. But it's so sad to know if somebody rate down the drama before watching it completely because the drama isn't about two lead actors. And it's so sad also to know if people rate down the drama because they hate the fans, the fandom or their actor isn't their fave. Perhaps with this mydramalist can take a look at the issue, who knows in the future they'll build a signature feature or some kind of footnote feature embedded in every users, so user can write whatever they want there including drama promotion. Just like in old forum. With this, if user want to promote specific content that they like, the promotion won't take up the posting space.
