Sorry for suddenly jumps in but yeah the korean version is... kinda bad... I can't stand Jandii. If you want to try other F4 version, I sugest you try the japanese one cuz this thai version closely follow it

Yes agree! Matsujun's acting could bring the complexity, sincerity, and could makes us understand, symphatize, and root for Domyoji :") LMH is good actor and he did well in BOF, but Matsujun did an STELLAR job in HanaDan. I don't think BOF is LMH best works, but HanaDan is definitely one of best Matsujun's works. And the chemistry between him and Mao Inoue's Makino is just *french kiss*

Better visual isn't equal better acting. Yes indeed thai version has your so called better visual, but based on these 2 eps their acting still aren't better than the japanese version. And off screen chemistry also isn't equal to on screen chemistry. I have seen both version, without their off screen interview and such, and based on first 2 eps the chemistry still better in japanese version. I'm not saying thai version doesn't have good acting and chemistry, cuz it has. But japanese version is just better in acting and chemistry 🤷‍♀️

Haha your loss then. Cuz the thai version is very much the same with the japanase. Thai version story is better, but so far the acting and chemistry still a bit lacking than the japanese version. Whereas the japanese version has good story, AMAZING ACTING, and OUT-OF-THIS-WORLD CHEMISTRY

He is my favorite japanese actor too beside Ninomiya Kazunari XD it will be hard for Bright to live up to Matsujun's Domyoji, cuz Jun's acting was stellar as Domyoji ✨

For Bright, I don't dislike it but I also don't love it? LOL but we will see XD I hope he brings more to the table

For the japanese version I agree wholeheartedly. I never get the SLS. But seriously tho, if you watched the korean one... You'll root more to the second lead and being so baffled as to why the FL not ended up with 2nd lead...

So glad this that version follow the japanese one cuz I can't take the nonsense of korean version

Aaahh seeing your comment about your thoughts about Hana Yori Dango Japanese version just made my heart <3 Hana Yori Dango is the first vesion I watched (though I remember watching parts of the Taiwanese long time ago and kinda not interested in Korean version at all back then). It just amazed me how good Hana Yori Dango is… I just, how?? How it could be this good? TTnTT After Hana Yori Dango, I watch the Korean version just because HanaDan so damn good and I want to give it another chance. But tbh for me the Korean kinda… bad compared to HanaDan. I’m so pessimistic no other version could be top or at least as equal as HanaDan, but here’s come F4 Thai XD I’m so excited for F4 Thailand cuz it really similar (and the story is even better!) to Hana Yori Dango. So we’ll see, will this version replace the Japanese one as the best vesion for me? ^^

Oh also, even tho I LOVE F4 Thailand, I just kinda bitter when people said F4 Thailand story so fresh and different when it EXACTLY THE SAME as Hana Yori Dango Japanese version TTnTT I just want people to give more credit to the Japanese version huhu

the japanese version has more or less same duration. About 16 hours for whole S1 and S2, so I think it would be fine? But they maybe cut some parts too I guess

Haha yes it's always been like that with all Hana Yori Dango/Boys Over Flowers/Meteor Garden/F4 adaptation. If this thai version could nailed it right, you'll fall for their love story ^^

F4 thailand is a huge contender to take place as best Boys Over Flowers adaption. Best BoF adaptation still the japan version for me, but this version came very close second XD let's see where this go~~

FYI this show closely follow the BoF japan version, Hana Yori Dango drama (2005)

Thyme's character is really closely resemblance of Domyoji! I really like it XD But Bright's acting still hasn't convince me as much as Matsujun's acting in HanaDan

The acting is great! So far I still likes the acting from Japan version better, but then again the japan version has more experienced actors so it's understandable. But for first-timer, they're doing GREAT!

I agree. As a newbie, Tu (Gorya) dan Dew (Ren) are the one that stand out the most for me XD

I would like them to cut Jiho vs Junpyo arcs cuz it just weird... There's no particular arc I want them to keep or cut, I just hope they could execute this well ^^ as stupid as the amnesia arc is, the jp vers did that arc pretty well so it all depends on the direction

I agree Tu similar to Makino+Shanchai. Almost as fearless as Makino, but more a thinker just like Sanchai

Haha but in japanese version this is so well done tho 🤣 I had my doubt but in japanase version they execute it really well and that part always be one of my fav moment and the most tear jerker 🥺💜

Since I also mostly watch Jdrama, fast pacing is never an issue for me XD but some may thought this thai version is so fast paced. Also maybe they want to take the edge of Thyme more faster in this thai version so they shift the tone more quickly? So far I'm liking the way F4 thai going tho. I came here without much expectation, but F4 thai turns out to be so good?? How??? It so amazing XDI too not really compared it with other version. It doesn't have to follow any version, but I like the direction they take.My fave is HanaDan and I only have watched HanaDan and BoF korean version. And yeah BoF is bad.... I can definitely see why some said it the worst version....

Humm but after some calculation total of hours in Hana Yori Dango also around 16hours (minus the movie, which is not really add to the plot anyway just full of fanservice goodness). So for pacing I guess around the same as HanaDan, but the tonal shift does change more quickly in F4 thai than HanaDan, cuz I remember Domyoji only start to become a full dork on last minutes in ep 3 after he decided he want to pursue Makino. Oh I also like this version XD the pacing isn't a problem for me
