Agree, the changes are a bit too sudden and extreme I guess. Matsujun's Domyoji is very layered, he can potray how confuse, angry, lonely, childish in one expression. And as I remembered we start to see dorky Domyoji after he cried to Rui on the airport. Our perspective changed at the same time with Makino, so it really helps too

yeah it will be shorter than the Hana Yori Dango japanese version too that has 9 eps in season 1, 11 eps in season 2 (with the 1st ep being a almost two hour special), and a final movie. So curious on how this version warp it up!

Domyoji in HanaDan jp ver is well... I won't say he is morally good and right, but the love story in HanaDan is so romatic and powerful. To my defense, he was not a functioning human being before, he doesn't know what is good, what is wrong, what is intolerable. When Makino doesn't bow down to him, he examine himself and start to figure it out. But yeah, he was a horible human being before

Boys before Friends if I'm not mistaken. It was canceled after just few episode, I guess it was that bad 😂

We never know which is considered to be the original adaptation 🤣 it's confusing so I just use "country name" version to refer to each one LOL. Don't worry if you haven't watch the korean versio haha, you don't miss anything 😂

Fun, light, comedic dorama. Some choices that Taro made are odd... But nonetheless it was a fun dorama ☺️ also the ost Happiness by Arashi is just so addicting!
