Ehhh, I think it fit. He isn't clever when it comes to Gorya. Since he likes Gorya, he believes that the kiss…
Yes, but MJ and Kavin calling Thyme out for the kidnaping and Tia calling Thyme out for the bus. So I don't see why they don't at least correct him a bit about that.
Yes it's only a talk not a real "no means no" situation but I really want Thyme to get that mindset out fast. I don't want to see him buying things to buy her and him forcing himself on her. That's why I'm iffy about that dialogue
Ehhh, I think it fit. He isn't clever when it comes to Gorya. Since he likes Gorya, he believes that the kiss…
Yes it's one thing to show Thyme naivety, but it's another thing that nobody correct him. Kavin and MJ should have said "No means no, Thyme." Since F4 Thailand lean on to be more socially, morally correct than the other version I just wish they don't do that...
Also I don't think Tia really gave advice about this to Thyme. She never emphasize to Thyme the right way to love Gorya. That money can't buy love and you can't force someone to love you.
Idk I just iffy about it. But maybe I'll change my mind after next ep
Lol, I think she went from a point of disbelief. As if to prove herself wrong. She expected NOT to find him there.…
Yes! I think only HanaDan that's really tells the story with the focus on Makino and actually make this her story, whereas other version sometimes focus too much on the F4.
If you wanna hear me get nerd, hear this π€ the rights Hana Yori Dango actually bought by Inoue Mao's agency and they sold it to TBS with the condition of Inoue Mao be Makino Tsukushi. The agency did this so HanaDan could be a vehicle to Inoue Mao. And I think that's one of the reason why Makino Tsukushi is much more prominent than in any other version. Another fact is, HanaDan actually was made with so little time, it was a sudden decision. TBS don't have a drama for the winter slot and with the time ticking, Inoue Mao's agency sold HanaDan rights to them so TBS could make a drama in winter time slot.
I feel like this ver is more focused on the F4 friendship than other versions AND I LOVE IT. Maybe that has something…
Yes. Domyoji in japanese ver is inhuman, he is a wild animal and ticking time bomb LOL. He was not a functioning human being before he meet Makino, but he self reflect and realize he is not. He start to learn his mistakes and redeem himself for it.
I just need to let this out... But Thyme dialogue at the pool "Gorya is a hypocrite. She says she doesn't like something, but she does." is just soooo iffy... And Kavin and MJ doesn't correct him is just cherry on top π
Lol, I think she went from a point of disbelief. As if to prove herself wrong. She expected NOT to find him there.…
Thai version decided to ease us to Thyme character, whereas in Japanese version it's the element of surprise. We and Makino are bewildered by what Domyoji is behind those tiger masks. So I think that's one of the reason why the rain scene more impactful. As for Thyme, we already knew how head over heels he is to Gorya, how he is not what he seem (aka a dork), so we knew he would be waiting. It's definitely cute, but not as much as turning point like in j-dorama
Lol, I think she went from a point of disbelief. As if to prove herself wrong. She expected NOT to find him there.…
Yes. All the way there Makino keep telling herself "no way" "there's no way" "no way" "is he really asking for a date?" LOL. She finally went there cuz he is intrigued by the tiger mask and the way Domyoji treat his friend. She only went there to check is Domyoji really there cuz she got a feeling he really asking her for a date, she expect he is NOT there. But there he is looking pittiful... I like how you said Domyoji is crazy XD he is indeed crazy...
Thank you! I was struggling with why it felt so rushed. It's disappointing because this version is so incredibly…
Exactly my thought also. HanaDan J-dorama has no pacing issue for me, any moment of impact felt impactful. Whereas here it feels lacking something. Alot of things was told instead of shows, we as audience didn't buy it as much as the j-dorama. So yes, imo it definitely not cuz of lack of backstory, narrative, or screentime

YES THANK YOU!! The building to the rain scene isn't as impactful as in HanaDan cuz we don't get to see the reason why. The interview was nice but the reason why Gorya suddenly want to shows up isn't as impactful as Tsukushi. HanaDan is amazing in it's metaphor, subtlety, and relly more on scene than dialog much more than other version. As you said eyes do more than ears ^^
So far l really like this series, but yeah i do think this one have some holes :1. i think the way F4 bullied…
I kinda agree with point 3, I guess the direction kinda rushed in to make Gorya like a big heroine (I mean she is but just we have not seen it yet). I don't think pacing is the issue, but more on the direction they took. I think they need to be more patience and just let the story flow and let the character unveiled themselves rather than pushing it down our throat too much.
People who said Lee Minho doing phenomenal work as Gu Junpyo definitely on crack (in fact ppl who said korean…
It's weird they compare it to K version, making it seem like LMH did an amazing job as Junpyo and Junpyo is the best π LOL LMH only did an okay job as Junpyo. Bright already on par (and even slightly better) with LMH acting in k version. if anything, it's more make sense if they compare it to Matsujun's Domyoji Tsukasa cuz he did amazing good and it's his best work and best Tsukasa potrayal. And I'm as Matsujun and HYD fans, I have no complaints so why these ppl have? Β―\_(γ)_/Β―

"When a girl said no, it means yes" π No, a no means a no. Just please don't...
