Not really. One is about living your own life over again as yourself. This one is about body switching, an old Hollywood trope.
Hopefully this series will be better an any of the crap that Hollywood released.

They are public figures after all. It's not like I am talking about someone who didn't put themselves out in the public sphere.

I guess I don't know much about what could make someone's body sexy. Every time I see Zi Yu with his shirt off I think he looks like a 12 year old boy. His face was already so young looking, that body makes him look positively childlike.
Great storyline though. I was surprised that a BL out of the PRC would even allow the guys to kiss. I hope they don't make one of them die or be horribly maimed in an accident at the end.

We are halfway through this BL series and I can't even see a hint of BL. Are we sure that these two will ever get together? This is the slowest burn ever.

I feel exactly the same way about KP. It seems as if nothing ever quite comes close to it. The acting, the story and even the music were exceptional. I am now a big Jeff Satur fan because of it.

I think it has also made stars out of most of the main cast. I know they are getting way more endorsements than many other actors. I keep hoping for a sequel, even though I know that the story's authors tended to act like jerks during the production. Too bad that happened. The story of the two of them running the major and minor families would be very interesting to watch.

Does anyone know if this will be a series, a mini-series, or a movie?

I am so old that I remember the seventies, and the ugly-ass long hair that came with it. Stylists didn't really start to make a difference until the eighties. Then hair got big, not long. I prefer the classic haircuts. Yes, I know I am dull...

I'm not saying that he is not a good actor, because he is, but I think that Peterpan is a far handsomer actor than Pond. But, it is very much a matter of personal taste. I did not mean to offend anyone.

Great to see some of the Wandee cast together again. This looks to be a sweeping, epic love story. It very much has the feel of I Feel You Linger In The Air.
I saw on FB that it will be on Netflix. I wonder if that is only in Asia???

I am really enjoying this series so far. It has all the hallmarks of a classic BL. Folks you love and folks you really want to hate.
The only thing that I don't understand is why they chose Pond for the lead? He is the least attractive of all his male co-stars in this series, and he has very little charisma. All the rest of the cast seems perfectly cast in their roles.
What do you guys think?

The whole premise of having to come up with the money for his sister's operation seems far fetched for Taiwan. In the US this would be perfectly plausible, but I have read and heard that Taiwan has one of the best National health insurance plans in Asia. What am I missing?
This whole story doesn't really call to me. I guess that I expected better from the country that brought us History 3: Make our Days Count and Trapped series.

I cannot believe they killed off poor Tonkla. I did not see that coming. But judging from what comes next it seems even sadder,
The guy who plays him was great as Boston in Only Friends, playing a way different character than Tonkla. I hope that he is in the sequel as he was shown to be the only truly bad character in the series (AKA more interesting).

This is a very enjoyable BL. The kind of thing that the Thais do very well. It is a bit of a throwback, but not in a bad way. BL as comfort food.

This series cries out for another season. We could follow these two for several years to see whether they grow together and what directions their lives may take.

I live in Detroit, so I think I may know a thing or two about crime. BTW, most BL's are designed as fantasies. The genre would not have become a worldwide phenom if it just tried to imitate the usual over the top violence produced by Hollywood on a daily basis. I have stopped watching this mess of a series and can only hope that the people who enjoy this type of thing get something out of it that the rest of us don't.
You can produce a drama like KP, 4 Minutes or Manner of Death without glorifying the violence. The torture scenes in KP were very hard to watch but they demonstrated just how twisted Vegas had become due to his father's influence. Plus, there was plenty of eye candy available throughout the series (AKA, a well made drama).

This series surprised me. It is way more than a costume drama and is incredibly well written. My only complaint lies with Khanin's hair. I can get past the color, but the cut is not flattering at all. He has a nice face, and his acting skills are greatly improved, but he needs to shine in the looks dept if he wants to play a prince. Hair hanging on the face is bad enough, but he needs to get it cut shorter so we can actually see his whole face. I'm just sayin'.

I don't mind a good crime story, like KP and others. But this thing, it gets beyond sick. I am only on episode 3 and the violence and darkness is so overwhelming.
This one is not gonna bring in any tourists to Thailand. I don't think the Thai govt will choose these actors as goodwill ambassadors any time soon.
