Is it just me or does the character of Hayama seem less attractive this season? I thought he was very sexy in season one, now he looks less so. Is it a new haircut or something? It's probably just me. Shirasaki still looks great though.
I so looked forward to Thailand finally getting SSM. Then they start making stories like this set in the past, where, if told in the present day, would already have a plot solution (let the men in love get married instead).
So frustrating seeing these historical dramas popping up, in the East and West, that show how gays were treated in the past (not well). I guess I am not too big on reality programming, as I grew up in that world and want to look ahead as much as I can. I think it is all just part of getting old.
Sorry guys, I know that the world really does need to know what happened to us in the past, so that it (hopefully) does not happen again.
This one was pretty bad. I tried watching it several times, and barely made it through. They actually spent time and money to produce this thing... go figure.
This series seems to bring back that old GMMTV magic. JimmySea helps a great deal too, . This is just a pleasure to watch. I hope that even more folks start putting out high quality BL's this Fall too.
Just thinking back to all that the world faced in that time period, it makes me so sad. Now the US and some other countries are trying to take us back to a time when the govt had the only answers and gave everyone their only choices. I guess I thought that after the slaughter of WWII, the world would only head towards progress and freedom. Seems that that was all a pipe dream, in so many countries. I do like the way they are handling the relationships and the way that they have so carefully woven them into the rest of the story. Now we have sexual tension mixed in with the tension the world brings into our everyday lives. I don't think that I could take more than eight episodes either, as some have said. I guess it is just too much for this tired old heart.
Just seeing Barcode again makes this series special. His looks still stand out more than most. He no longer has the baby face from KP, now he is just a handsome man. He so deserves his own series soon. The production values on this show are up to the usual high standards of GMMTV. I hope this series continues to be as enjoyable as the first episode was.
Yes, this is definitely a you problem, most people aren’t that shallow towards “imperfections”, though even…
I watch a lot of shows about dermatological procedures, so I see some pretty terrible things growing on people's heads. From cysts to lipomas to warts and eczema. Just because it naturally occurs as "part of you", doesn't mean you should keep it. Naturally, being so shallow, I notice these things.
Is anyone else bothered by that thing on the boss's nose? Can't a doctor remove that? I've always had a problem with facial moles or warts. I am enjoying the series though. I just have to start looking into the boss's eyes and not at the tip of his nose. Help...
I just finished watching the second episode and I am even more impressed by the series. The series both entertains and frightens me at the same time. Having lived through part of that era, the fear of being gay and found out keeps coming back. It wasn't all that great here in the USA, but it seems that under a military dictatorship it would be worse. With the way President Trump is going, I may have to live through a military dictatorship here, before I pass away.
This series seems to be epic on so many levels. I hope that BOC sells it to Netflix like they did with Man Suang. I still keep hoping that they will do that with KP, as that was also an epic series.
This looks pretty cheesy. Usually GMMTV has higher production values. You're all right, Barcode deserves better. Does anyone know if this is supposed to be a BL?
Thank you for your very thorough response. I guess I just thought offering opinions and comments might be an enjoyable thing to do, but it seems that I have offended too many people with my casual quips. I am truly sorry.
Shirasaki still looks great though.

Very well done show though.
