the drama portrayal of abuse was hard to watch bcs how accurate it is. it happens bcs the perpetrator wants to exert power and control onto the victims, and it continue to happen bcs bystanders do nothing when it happen, some even going as far as enabling and justifying it. there’s no justification for abuse
