I guess I am just more sympathetic to the FL. IMO she was broken up when she started dating the new guy. Unfortunately, as you pointed out, a lot of women now take an extreme view on men and seem to take any opportunity to bash them.
If you knew me in RL, you would know that I am described by my family as a men's rights activist. I don't automatically take the woman's side but I try to base my opinion on what I see. In all the scenes of the phone calls between FL and her boyfriend, he was never actually giving her his complete attention. He was always distracted and barely listening. So even if she did communicate what she was feeling, he wasn't paying attention enough to hear it. I think the communication issues are on both sides.
am I the only one who can see how the female lead is not innocent? yes she is naive and want love but she is definitely…
She flirted a little with him but IMO only properly dated him after she broke up with her boyfriend. I have no problem with cheating drama - not that I condone it - but like you said life is messy. I have a close family member that cheated, got married and divorced in 6 months cause his affair partner was pregnant.
I was sympathetic to SML cause I could see his insecurities but I really thought he sunk low when he got the building manager fired. Also he was manipulative with FL. He was wallowing in his victimhood.
My take is that all the characters, even though they are in relationships, are all traveling on their own tracks - to their own destinations. When you are really in a true relationship, you travel on the same track.
I do not think FL 'milked' her boyfriend for money. When they first started dating, his family was broke and only became wealthy later. She didn't ask for those expensive gifts. He gave them to her instead of real affection or attention.
I really like Tian xi wei's character. I think while the other characters are all looking at relationships in a more transactional way, she's wanting a genuine connection. I really felt for her when she discovered that she was just one of many girls that her boyfriend had asked out.
Both Nan and Han lack complete self-love that's why it's so easy for scum like Yi Peng and Zhou Bin to manipulate…
I think the issue with Yi Peng and Su is that she has grown to be disappointed in Peng and he knows it. That she would do his work for him and expect him to pass it off as his own is quite demeaning in a way. It's showing him she thinks he's inadequate. And this is already something he feels about himself.
Also the way she left for Hong Kong, lying about everything, shows him that he's irrelevant to her. She is not considering him at all in her decisions. She wants to break up with him but wants him to be the bad guy and break up with her.
For me, this is the best romance in dramaland right now. I hope they don't screw up the ending.I'm really curious…
I agree it's the best. I already lost interest in "Romance in the House" and 'Love Next Door" even though I like those actors. I think it's the exaggerated acting in those dramas which just starts to be too formulaic.
I love the FL in this drama. Her acting is very natural. And I like the dynamic between the three friends.
I'm in ep 4 now. So, they didn't register their marriage?? I'm confused with the sub, so messy. 😮💨
They had forgotten to get their photo for the marriage license and by the time they did, the marriage office was closed. So they missed getting the license.
I watched the first three episodes on Viki. So far, I really like the actors, their chemistry and the dialogue. What I particularly like is that none of the plot elements are over exaggerated. Yes, we have the typical tropes but there are presented in a way that's natural to the storyline. I also like all the supporting cast too. I'm hoping that her female boss will get a romantic interest. There does seem to be some flirting between her boss and the other manager colleague.
