i'm not the biggest fan of xianxia tbh but this was very refreshing, then it turned hard into what I find frustrating about xianxia.....nothing wrong w tropes but yeah very predictable, and it is hard for me to care about characters when they are not really our main characters......I do get that it is connected but might as well be joe shmo to me since they are completely different....

yeah agreed with you, there are some moments that are really good looking, others that are cringe......but i'd still say 75% of it is average compared to other recent cdramas that I have seen, especially for the lighting and how the actors look blended into the environments......that part of it is very so-so for me

sure i agree with you bad acting can affect a drama and that isn't the issue with this drama, but a show has many elements that must come together.....acting, directing, script writing, editing, cgi, music....it is possible to think one is good and the others are bad and not everyone will be satisfied with just one element
