well, he had the best fighting scenes for all of them, both in drama and in novel, and stoppped the most difficult and dangerous group of enemies, I hardly say it was insigificent. The Dark Water is one of major powers even if not so visible. They underplayed them in the Lin Fortress part so maybe it was not that clear here. They distributed resources well by making TL fighting assassins, others did not stand the chance. It's war, casualities are to be expected. Because in the SNGX novel it looked like the name on original (and only edict left in two copies) was of Langya King and he distroyed one copy that was left to Precepror (?) and puting curent emperor on the throne. As I read novel after the show started I must admit I skipped first chapters mostly, I will need to read them later. In fact I watched like 6 episodes, then watched animation and then started novel but I saw discrepancies so went back in novel to the TV show part. I have no patience to wait for the end of story, I am afraid, and wanted to be sure that I can be safety involved, lol! Wuxin has potential for novel with side plot of other guys. Well, with show popularity maybe something could happen. Or we will see fanfictions apearing, lol! I am not sure why I tag it as the spoiler but people are so agresive sometimes :(

I was talking about spiritual bond in term of how typical plot in such novel go. And you are right and wrong, in novel the control part is not related to them being related by blood as he could control other medicine man. The blood part allows them to make perfect medicine man that is reversable and not burn itself out. Here the whole control is build on premises of them being related by blood and the blood of person that this connection is coming from is necessery to serve the bond and awake the victim. The issue I have is that the assasin they met before is saved from simillar case by first Wuxian then by staring at the picture that represent those arts. Of course you can argue that it was experiment on different stages but it is little inconsistent for me. And the process is a bit different for Wuxian. Still cool concept
