Did Lord Wei stripped Emperor from some part of power with this jade knife? So he turned grey? Is it part of the novel? The owner of the knife is actually still alive or it's just remenents of previous owner powers? We can expect the knife will have the role to play later, will we?
I know I love the novels. the series was good even though they changed a few things from the novel. am still hoping…
thanks for our answers. Lol, I have exactly the same problem, I can't remember names and I was laughing because my explanations look exactly like yours if I do not research names again before writing. So I have no issue with understanding who you have in mind. I think I will try to read the books as well, maybe starting from second as lately I don't have much time free.

Yes, I read part of first novel so I know that they changed sex of the sibling, but I must say I liked him as woman in the show better. But it may be because I saw show first and I found siblings interactions hilarious. And if I remember well there is no woman sniper in novel, the next change that I liked. For the cases, the one in the show, are there significant changes from the novel? I remeber reading somewhere that the boy in last case was adopted by them not by that new cop on team. To which novel show cover the cases, do ou remember? Are there some cases skipped mabe?

thank you, it was always bothering me. I remember I tried to read novel when it aired, long time ago but translation was weird then, maybe I try again now. may I ask one more question? Was it some kind of conspiracy regarding the Zhao Jue initial crime from those many years ago? I had the feeling it was not such strightforward as they made you belive at the begining or I watched too many crime stories and I am overcomplicating things? Don't get me wrong, even if Zhao Jue is my favourite character on the show, I belive him being criminal mastermind of sort, it just looked a bit like cover up for some police screw up.

As you read the novels, one question: was it ever disclosed if Zhan Yao was, as it is at some point suggested, Zhao Jue's son or his interest was more due to ZY profession and personality?
it's in "related context": 6-jikan Go ni Kimi wa Shinu, exactly the same as Korean one. It was "special" , short movie. I do not remember name of sequel, it took place in the hotel and involved again prediction of death.
I watched original Japanese movie long time ago and then I liked it very much. There was even second one with the same actors, not sure if based on sequel novel or not with less suspense (as we know who the good gus are) but the more action. I thought it will be interesting to see new take on it from another country but after the comments I wonder if I should spoil m previous experience.
I have this pesymistic view on the end that the most of them die and Yi Chen will be next wessel for this dark energy. No idea who next goddess may be but I am only on 8th episode.
Surprisingly good drama. Even preaching for "good and justice" was not as overdone as you usually see in Chinese shows. In hindsight, this Lulu character has strong psychopatic traits, they are hinting at it from begining, even as a child he is very manipulative.
I feel disappointed I don't know maybe after 32 episodes of obsessing over him , looking for him I imagined his…
Isn't it exactly beauty of simplicity in it? Your friend coming back and fitting effortlessly back into your life? Where was his place? All the drama passed and you can just live your life?
Well, for one, there's all the other dramas and spin-off movies in the THE LOST TOMB universe.Watching all of…
I watched that one but it is more on crime solving side so I did not mentioned it here. There is second season but apparently less interesting. If you like crime and mystics together, Strange tales of Tong Dynasty is solid drama, both seasons.

I only saw some movies but they are not that good and CGI is pretty bad. I think there was one with XuKai? I found it: https://kisskh.at/49447-lost-in-the-kunlun-mountains . I started it but did not finished as the girl annoyed me too much. You can check it not exactly tomb robbing but simillar vibe was https://kisskh.at/25478-the-golden-eyes I liked that one. another one from this year https://kisskh.at/714631-fu-shi-hui Heroes, but I only heard some mixed opinions about it, I did not have time to check it yet
