I watched this for the cast without much thought on the synopsis, so I was pleasantly surprised. Wouldn't think a story sets about job hunting would be this intense and full of mystery. Although I find the reveal quite flat, but the ending was nice in another way and somehow become touching.
Definitely my newest comfort drama ♡ Every episode made me smile, kicking my feet from their cuteness, but at times, emotional. It was a perfect ending too, but I wouldn't say no for a season 2 xD
I only watched the spin off 4 years ago, but finally watch this main series after it got into Netflix. I did have the feeling that I would like it and it really didn't disappoint. The drama didn't bring anything new at all, but it's executed so well. Even though it has some cliche drama and none of the characters are perfect, I never felt annoyed - I really adore them as characters and their relationships. A comfy and enjoyable watch throughout.
Also I really love how we get more into Shun's POV on the endings of every episode.
I don't really seek this type of Kdrama, but I'm glad I decided to watch it after all because of IU. This was a masterpiece indeed. A love letter to mothers so beautifully written...like Ae Sun's poems. Cried so much on Vol. 4, my head hurts.
Finally completed it and had time to process. I started this very excited because I would eat up this plot so much as a fanfic, but the drama ends up giving me mixed feelings.
I think it delivers the theme of trauma really well, and the actress playing Yifan was excellent in portraying her character. The conclusion of her individual story was great as well.
Unfortunately, it was just way too long for me that it lost steam somewhere, probably a few episodes after they introduced the intern guy whom I thought overstaying his welcome and didn't even add anything to the story. I also initially loved those flashbacks from when they were teenagers, they were cute - but I got tired after a point when it feels like they just repeating stuff.
Overall, I just think this show could be a lot shorter, and I'd probably enjoy it more that way.
The steel tape measure scene gave me chills!!! 😨 I didn't expect that to happen at all... I hope Dong Jin doesn't…
That tape scared me 😭 had to check if this was a horror or not lol I also think it's not coincidence anymore and the tape scene solidify that idea for me.
First half was hard to watch, but 2nd half really picked up for me. Mainly because of the family drama, but even the romance got much better on second half and I ended up liking both couples' stories. Main couple was cute, 2nd couple was interesting. Also, didn't expect to cry a lot..
Those reporters really stressing me out 😩 lol. I think the ending is great but I'm not opposed to season 2 and possibly see the trauma center becomes bigger and more of No. 2
I watched 2 eps and didn't feel it's well-made drama. does it get any better?
Personally I was also not sold on it until almost halfway. Started enjoying it from end of ep 3, ep 4 solidifies it and it just gets better and better from there especially in terms of the characters and their development. The ending was really satisfying to see because of that.
Anime does this much better due to more accurate adaptation. I don’t know how it will be with the finale, though.…
Anime follows the plotline closer to manga, but personally, I don't believe that adaptation needs to follow source materials to the dot, as long as the story still makes sense, and the characters stays the same personality/motives - which I think the drama did. What I like more about the drama compared to anime was the atmosphere. The anime always felt too bright for me, while the manga always felt darker, suspenseful + mysterious.. and that's how the drama feels.
Also I really love how we get more into Shun's POV on the endings of every episode.
