On Meet Me @ 1006 Dec 15, 2022
Decided to pick this up again since there's a Chinese version... haven't watched the Chinese one yet.. but this was pretty good. I watched some episodes a few years ago but didn't get around to finishing it. The story is mainly focused on the main leads and the supporting characters don't take up too much time to make me fast-forward through their scenes. I would have liked it if they explored the main characters some more since they all seem to go through a lot of difficulties in their past. It was interesting throughout but there were a few moments when it slowed down a bit. The events in the last episode felt forced and a bit rushed but overall it ended well. There are scenes after the ending credits of the last episode in case anyone missed that. I'm also reminded that I wish Lego Lee did more dramas.

Hmm... it feels like FL and ML haven't known each other for a long time so it feels a little unreasonable for her to expect commitment from him.. though I understand the urgency of her problem. It sounded like he just wanted to take things slow. I might prefer if he had broken up with her or something to be the ultimate deciding factor for her to marry someone else along with her debt circumstance.

Thoroughly enjoyed this documentary. I don't watch many music documentaries so I can't say how it compares to…
For anyone who has been to their concerts or familiar with their live performances, it was bittersweet to hear "We Are" without an audience especially during parts of the song when Taka usually stops singing just so it's the crowd's voices but at this particular concert, there was a silence.

Thoroughly enjoyed this documentary. I don't watch many music documentaries so I can't say how it compares to others but anyone who is a fan of One Ok Rock will not be disappointed. It's great to get a more personal glance at the guys and their journey before joining the band. I think what makes this documentary stand out is that it takes place during the first year of the pandemic so watching it and remembering what 2020 was like for many of us made it more emotional. After watching this, I was disappointed that I missed the live concert but I felt satisfied with the concert footage featured in the documentary. I was moved by Taka's intimate words during the last two songs and it just shows how passionate he is about connecting to people through music and how deeply rooted his identity and life is in his work as a musician. Taka understands that at that moment the concert was important for the band's survival just as it could be critical for their fans' survival. It's just beautiful to see the passion in each member and the work they do to ensure the fans have the best experience. The documentary would be better if we got more stories about their lives and about the band. I definitely recommend it to everyone even if you're unfamiliar with the band.

Just going to echo what some have said. She's great in Hotaru no Hikari and Jin 1 & 2. She is one of my favorite J actresses and I am always going to check out anything she's in.

I really enjoyed this! It is a slow-paced movie but still engaging. Emotional with some subtle humor here and there. It's not a love story but about memories and the connection between our relationships with people and material things. I definitely recommend it.

This was really well done (storytelling, characters, pacing) and one of the only dramas lately that I was excited to watch.

Now that I've emotionally recovered a bit from watching this, here's a short review for anyone who is wondering about the drama. It's sorta a time travel where the FL travels to a parallel universe where she gets to relive parts of her high school life in 2010 and learn about her connection to the ML, someone she never paid attention to nor remember. The drama itself is more concerned about the story than attention to detail to make it look like she's back in 2010. To me, it looks like today except for their cell phones. It took me 2 episodes to warm up to the FL because she can come off immature for a 30ish-year-old woman. You sorta forget about all that because ML is just so pure and charming and you get engrossed in their story and her revelations about the ML and her past. The drama is more about the FL than the ML so we don't get a lot of his perspective and for the first couple of episodes, he barely has any dialogue. As for supporting characters, they have their own stories but they don't steal the show. I found a few parts here and there that were draggy and some parts didn't make sense to me but overall I finished it without ff parts and I thought it was well done. I highly recommend it to anyone who likes youth dramas or dramas with a little bit of everything. 8.5/10

So after checking a few episodes of this drama you will continue? It's still 5 episodes in tho...
We will see. I do have a soft spot for Thai dramas... like i have a tendency to keep watching a Thai drama even though it's bad. I can't do that with cdramas for some reason.

I'm always curious enough to check out any HYD adaptations for a few episodes but I know I can never finish them anymore since watch the Japanese one. I thought the Thai version looked pretty good after watching the first episode and I feel like they tackle issues pretty well in their dramas so it would be interesting how it goes.

I had heard this was good from people mentioning it on feeds but I wasn't expecting it to be this good! This has…
Yea you should try some of the other mystery thriller dramas like Murderous Affair At Horizon Tower, The Bad Kids, and Miss Gu Who is Silent... just to name a few. They're shorter than other cdramas.. under 20 episodes and really well done.

Honestly, the last couple of episodes are messy and I hate that some significant things important to the plot happened offscreen... ugh. But Zhu Ya Wen is the reason I plan on watching this to the end.

WHITE FOX was weak in last episode. Thought she would be master
Yea I think the weird thing about this drama is they intro some of the characters as if they're really powerful and untouchable but then you learn they're just meh.

The rating for this series on douban is pretty low, 5/10 while here MDL 8/10 and Viki 9/10. Many complaint about…
I thought Teresa Li did well and is more expressive than some of the actors who keep getting roles. Honestly, I might be less interested in a season 2 if they replaced her but I'm the type of person who hates to see roles replaced by other actors.
