I like their relationship but there are some scenes where ML could have acted better.

yea didn't it seem like ML's dad doesn't trust the stepmother when he wouldn't eat the pastry she offered him but ate the one that she was already eating? (ep. 9)

ugh Kurusu practically confesses to Hitsujitani in ep. 10 when he tells her she can always rely on him but she doesn't get it and instead gains insight on how to handle her client. haha.

I am always down for a jdrama that includes a slow-burn, slight romance that you didn't expect to happen. Yea if you're familiar with Jdrams, this is a typical drama, but Japanese work dramas have a way of making the work aspect interesting. I found the issues that came up in each case were relatable and loved how they resolved things for Kurusu.

simple high school romance movie. I enjoyed it and the music was good. And I appreciated the extra scene after the credits.

I actually like the fl character. yea she's a young lawyer and a bit naive but at least she's not overconfident or prideful. I find her easygoing and someone who wants to grow in her job. as for ML, he's cold and seems to only care about money but somehow I agree with most of the things he says lol. but really, on one hand he's totally using her for his insomnia but on the other hand everything else he's doing/saying is actually building her up to be better at her job.

I can't wait but also so nervous. I hope it's good.

the ending credits are super cute and made me more excited to see their relationship develop.

I interpreted it as the afterlife... they definitely did not survive. Last scene implies that Chu Yue has died and going to meet them... but the child was unnecessary. If there's going to be a child, we all wanted it to be because they survived.

I don't think I understood why it ended the way it did. Especially the last scene. Tragic ending and I'm mad and sad about it. Sad endings can be satisfying but this wasn't it. Good drama up until the last two episodes. I think NYZ's death could have been prevented. His last sacrifice didn't change their circumstance that much so he should have looked for a way to safety instead of taking a last stand.

I do that too. I rarely finish cdramas or watch as they’re airing. This one has kept me interested and I look forward to seeing how it ends.

I think that's her original plan but I feel like we've seen her grow to be someone who wants to serve the people... I felt like when she stabbed and killed her lover was the event that helped her to see her life beyond just a privileged princess who gets married.

Yea it slows down a bit for more character development which I think is good for the story and consistent with the characters. Once they figure out their plan, it picks up again. The latest episodes were really good.

Yea I want to think that he finally realized he is far from being her equal because she was willing to sacrifice herself for him and he hasn't done anything to actually help her. But also the way he said YY's name in that scene sounded different.. like there's more familiarity and trust between them.

Yea I think that is what many are predicting or heard from spoilers. I want them to end up together. I feel like YY's actions and character should impress LTG for him to move on from RY. Plus their goals are aligning so they will be good for each other.

Ep. 34: Yang Ying's "mom and dad" coming to save the day!

Yea.. I hate to see a heartbroken YL but he seems like he's committed to his role too and wouldn't let romance get in the way of the mission... since it seems like he hinted that he liked her when they were on that rooftop. If LTG matures and genuinely likes her then yea he might be a better fit for YY. YL is a good person and would be good for YY but I feel like YL's disease and her status as a royal are big barriers. YY is putting her country and people above herself and I think she will need someone who will stand beside her as a leader. Before she did what she did partially so she could marry her lover but her reasons are different now.

I actually ship YY with LTG more than YL because I feel like she has the character to get him out of his obsession with RY. YY and YL were cute but I like them better as close friends.

I was just scared for everybody in episodes 31 and 32. But yay, more scenes of Yang Ying being a brave leader!

I'm on ep. 14 and this is your typical romance drama. I don't find the FL as bad as some have commented. I think my biggest issue so far has been ML's sister. She's fine but it just feels like she's about to have everything given to her and an easy path to success because of her connections and looks. Let me know if they address that in the later episodes because I don't feel like rooting for her.
