they start dating in ep 17 but experience some conflict in their relationship starting in ep 28 so they sorta break up in ep 30, and get back together in ep. 32. Ep 31 and 32 are really good though so don't be discouraged if it seems like the problem is dragged out for a couple of episodes. Other people like the main leads but none of them have a chance and they don't get annoying either. Most characters in this drama are pretty reasonable and no one is dumb.. except the mean stepsister.

I don't normally cry but I shed some tears for Tan Si. I knew it was coming but it was still sad.

Ep 35 and 36 were really emotional and an extra 10 minutes for the last episode would have been more satisfying. But overall, I really enjoyed it!

I was actually sad about Shuang's death and watching TXL cry over her knowing that he saved her and treated her like family for all those years. This seems like the final wake up call for Su and XGY to fully see how terrible Xu Bo Jun is .

Ep 31 and 32 really showcase how good TXL is at figuring out what to do on the spot when his plans are disrupted. At the same time, we get to see MWQ's brilliance. omg this couple! love them.

Definitely light for a political/war Republican drama with a good amount of comedic relief but it doesn't get to the level of silliness in asian drama rom coms. So it's pretty easy to watch.

PSJ is the more likable one out of those three guys. There is little development for Su up until Ep 30. He does not deserve Gu Yue Shuang. And XGY has too much filial piety. His character is kinda disappointing. But yea as you watch you notice the gap really widens between these guys and our male lead TXL. He has so much more experience than all of them yet they continue to underestimate him.

yea that's what I meant. If XGY did more at the beginning maybe he had a chance bc she trusted him right away while at first TXL was kinda too dangerous but TXL proved himself to her. XGY doesn't do enough. Even now he's kinda useless and can't seem to figure out what to do or think about his dad, so he still just a pawn.

Yes! Yea part of the plot is political but it's interesting because the leads are people you'll like and want to root for. The male lead might be a little much for some people at the beginning but he is one of the best parts of this drama. I didn't find any characters super annoying compared to other dramas but there are a few in here. The leads aren't stupid to fall for their antics so it really makes up for any annoying characters. The plot moves quickly so it should be a good binge.

She is the best. Too bad Guang Yao was too idle. If he had pursued her more or helped her earlier on, maybe she would have liked him. She was definitely more drawn to TXL... i mean who wouldn't be.

Can't wait for Monday! Also, I love how much MWQ believes in TXL. She didn't jump to conclusions or react without thinking. For the most part, she was so calm through it all until he told her the "truth".

I agree. I feel like FL that are supposed to be smart are not convincing at all in most cdramas. The FL from Fall in Love and Forever Love are both smart, mature, and not annoying. They're both my favorites too.

so far they have supported each other. They both use their intelligence to help each other and there hasn't been any major misunderstandings. But we still have 12 more episodes to go...

Also Yagira Yuya's character was a psychopath but for some reason I hoped throughout the movie that his character survives.

Really enjoyed this movie. I thought the humor was funny (but might not be for everyone) and his backstory sorta explains some of his antics. It has some good action but also try not to take this film too seriously and you'll enjoy it. This is a solid 8/10 for me.

yea everyone has their own way of rating a drama so I appreciate it when people leave reviews or comment on why they liked or didn't like the drama.

I'm not familiar with Douban ratings so I won't make comparisons but I always thought MDL ratings were generous. A lot of dramas rated 8+ should only be between 7-8 at the highest. And there are good dramas that don't get a lot of attention and they're rated pretty low which is unfortunate because people are less likely to give it a chance.

disagree completely. I don't think she owes him anything just because he loves her. I think the issue for her is more about her relationship with her sister and where she's at in her life now. She started out really confident and going to prison as a result of her actions was a big disruption in her life. It's fair for her to be hesitant about starting a relationship, not selfish at all when her love life and job have already collided. As for Nont, he could have just comforted her because her being in distress makes it harder for her to control her emotions which is why he ended up alone when he woke up and now she wants to distance herself even more.

I don't know. She went through the traumatic events and he didn't. Just because she has no where to go for comfort/support don't mean she was inviting him to make moves on her even though she consents while in distress. I think I just don't like the writers using these moments when Jen is traumatized as opportunities for Nont to be more physically intimate with her. He comes off kind of gross.

Why is Nont always making a move on Jen when she's in a super vulnerable state? It makes me a bit uncomfortable. Also, I really like Mavin but can he be redeemed?
