Title Fall in Love
According to their spoiler on the calendar, there will be a wedding ceremony but it should happen in 30s episode.
oh never noticed the emojis were spoilers. so it looks like next week might be heartbreaking and angsty but last couple of episodes are giving me hope for a happy ending.

Title Jun Jiu Ling
I decided to pick this up again but I can't get past my first impression of the FL. It's not believable that the smart, strategic, medical expert is the same woman who reacted and nearly got herself killed for carelessly attempting to kill the emperor. Watched 10 episodes and I haven't warmed up yet to her even though normally I would like this kind of character. It's not bad but after each episode, I don't feel the urge to watch the next one either. I'll push through and see how it goes.

saw the trailer for 27-28 I have a bad feeling 🤞🤞🤞
I've been avoiding trailers but whenever I watch the end credits I get a little worried. I guess we have to expect that some conflict will come between them that will be challenging for them to resolve. So far they have been a step ahead of everyone so that must come to an end at some point.. hopefully temporary.

I never rooted for a drama couple so much. Love that they have so much trust in each other. Can't wait for tomorrow's episodes to see how their plan unfolds.

I really thought that old lady was in on it. Pratheep always seemed a little bit scared of her, unless he was just trying to be really respectful and hide their illegal business from her.

Making a guess but I feel like if there is going to be a tragic death for one of the characters then I think it will be Pei Shao Jun. He just takes his work so seriously that it seems fitting that it would happen. And during the New Year when TXL was talking about wanting his sister to marry someone other than a soldier might foreshadow something happening to PSJ.

I agree. She's very likable and wasn't just smart at the beginning but has been consistently. Hopefully it stays this way.

My impression of Japan is that they set their own trends and have their own style that feels really unique to Japan. I like that they don't try to go international with their dramas and don't feel the need to compete with k and c dramas. Their dramas and acting style are different and that's why I appreciate them. I sorta wonder how influential has jdramas, animes, and mangas have been in other Asian dramas. I haven't watched a k drama since 2010ish so I can't speak into them but they seem to have come a long way as in they seem to have more interesting plots.

For a rom-com, this is a solid 8 for me. The episodes go by fast so this was super easy to watch. It was over the top at times but I still enjoyed all the characters, even the villains. I loved the focus both on the romance and the friendship between Ying Ying and Noina. But by the end, I felt like I needed more Ying Ying and Korn scenes together. They were cute and had good chemistry together.

Great list. One of my favorites from this list is Oguri Shun. I think some of my other favorites not on the list are Ayano Go, Suda Masaki, and Matsuda Shota. I'm pretty sure I'm forgetting someone. Also, Okada Kenshi is an actor I'm growing to like. I enjoyed his role in Uchi no Musume wa, Kareshi ga Dekinai.

I'm a longtime fan and have always preferred Jdramas over others for similar reasons. I've been struggling to get through cdramas lately... I think they try to do too much and the plot becomes less compelling. There have been a lot of good jdramas this year.

omg... you made me miss my college days where I went to uni in a different city and lived in a share house with…
Any kind of meal (homecooked or takeout) shared with friends is enjoyable. I know what you mean though, back in college we hosted a bunch of dinner parties. This past year I cooked food for myself (so exhausting!) and ate alone most of the time. so sad. I miss friends.

On Kotaro Lives Alone Jul 1, 2021
This might be one of my favorites this year. I looked forward to the next episode after finishing each one. The premise is unrealistic but Kotaro's character felt real and I think that's what makes this drama work. It's heartwarming, sad, and lighthearted all at the same time. Highly recommend it to anyone who is wondering if they should watch it. Episodes are short so it's definitely worth a try.
