The cinematography is the best I have seen in a Chinese drama and this is the only drama I think really needs a properly rendered 60FPS version. Currently the CG fight scenes are really choppy and hard to watch. It seems as if the 60FPS was achieved post master through some really bad interpolation.

Man the Saudi prince is too awesome hahaha

Some people are taking it too seriously its a comedic plant, take it as it is supposed to be viewed.

The kisses were not fish kisses but were heavily censored and cut out 😭
If it was censoring, then it was obviously by the production to achieve a lower rating so it is on the creators, not some external factor. Chinese dramas do have good kisses.

Most commenters have said already what I have in mind, the drama just goes back and forth to a frustrating degree, and once I was so frustrated I did just stop watching for a few days. Some tropes getting forced into the plot line, did not help.

The chemistry is very high but many kisses were either fish kisses or the lips actually didn't even touch so a lot of immersion breaking romance scenes... I mean there was no need to make the actors kiss when they are so bad at it. The height was that even the last kiss was a fish kiss...

So its a 8.5 for me. The drama did get draggy at the end and a bit too laid back.

Its a nice breath of fresh air from the usual poor/rich dynamics with both leads being rich and how that works for family politics and the business landscape. It was literally something so rare, to actually have leads not really caring about money issues.

Well the final episodes were odd, for lack of a better word.

Overall what stood out was the clear above the board fashion statement. Every woman had a unique dress and each of them was outstanding. It was kind of a quest, now what will they wear in the next scene. Pure eye candy. ZLS had the best dresses for obvious reasons.

E29 First flaws of the story appear... using the kid was completely inappropriate as no kid watches news about corporate gossip. Also his reactions were totally overblown and unrealistic.

E23 ML is really THE MAN, he is taking everything thrown at him and he is throwing everything he has to get her, and the way he shows jealousy, cute, but unfortunately she is too dense, jhahaha

You really see how mature adults deal with things, I can see parallels to what I think in my age to how the ML changed so drastically. When you are mature, changing things when your mind agrees to its justification is really very easy.

E16, FL did good cutting it all off with a clean break. she handled his parents well too. Even though both are fraudsters but being implicated in the same nature of crime, does not exonerate their crimes.

I'm annoyed by how hard she's trying MIL. If I were in her position I'd probably tell the bish to f off. Trying…
I assume that you have not had the same life she had. Perhaps that's why you can't make that connection to her desperation in holding onto a person who gives her what she lacked throughout. Its a small sacrifice to her.

Man its E6 and ML draws the scale on the glass making her nearly cry. Oh, he does not know how she loved that move. A kiss by her was well deserved, made me tear up, really how much she had wanted the love, the care and the attention from her parents.

ZLS acted this small snippet so well, the character's true emotions glimpsed from the fake facade she keeps up to secure her fake life in desperation to hold onto that happiness.

ZLS character is actually committing marriage fraud, its scary how desperation has caused her to indulge into criminal activities.

Damn the breakup is coming, its so maddening...

It was great in the first half, after which it just lost the charm and till the end it couldn't recover the same level. There were some forced plot twists which really broke the immersion. 8/10

Its quite a bore fest for nearly half the drama. Only the leads save the day for that part. Afterwards the same old beaten trope of not telling forms the basis of almost all the plots. The main problem of the drama though kind of solves very easily, everything just falls into place. The main focus of the drama is the romance, so all else is just not worth time for the author.

The thing they did with the wedding, where the bride's female relatives made the groom say stuff and get money out of him in E22. I was really astonished to find that it was very similar to what happens in my country, Pakistan, on weddings. Its a very popular event.

I enjoyed the drama but damn,, some of these characters don't know what NO means, NO means NO.
Its not that simple, sometimes the girl plays the no game expecting the boy to continue his struggle, sometimes the guy is immature. In serious relationships before their prime, men are quite dumb, they don't understand women and literally can't figure out that mostly they are not so different. Everybody learns at some point, nobody gets born with all the nuances.

Even I was played by a girl in my early twenties, she loved the no game, as I literally laid my everything to retain her, to even see a smiling emoji from her. Ah! Such embarrassing memories.

Yes!The breakup was so important to strengthen their relationship forever
Yes it wouldn't have worked otherwise, his concepts were too corrupt for a relationship to survive.

Well the typical breakup at the ending episodes was saved by how they wrote the plot, Bravo!

It was a miraculous save as I typically rate such series badly as it doesn't make any sense, but, it made sense here, and I was predicting such odd situation one way or the other, because of how oddly the MC had resolved his internal turmoil. Because he did so without parental intervention nor professional counseling, it was escapist and myopic.

Overall I loved it to a large extent. The second main couple was handled too maturely while the first main couple was like first love in the 30s, haha. It really needed to be 16 or more episodes for the second couple to really get past the courtship stage, alas!
