It's perfect ending. The chemistry for the leads? Top-notch.
For more than 3/4 of the drama, ML gets bullied, even the FL doesn't treat him well. So they are really together in the last 10 episodes. Seriously the ML deserved better.

K-Pop scene is outright exploitation. I can't fathom how their society can't wrap around such open decadence and making literal tools out of people. All these K-Pop stars are machines, everything in their being is engineered to sustain and enrich their main purpose: making money.

Well the truly exploited ones don't get this much fame, these are the lucky ones. The exploited usually suicide or get taken advantage of for many years, and if such is exposed, the perpetrators never get what they deserve.
Korean history is littered with such examples. On top its a very small country with a demographic crisis both in terms of birth rates and how Seoul is center for over 50% of the population.
No wonder they sport the highest suicide rates. Reaching 24% in adolescents to teenagers. The system has gone too long with such critical fractures.

Yes, even Kang Han Na got many awards by now. Many don't remember or don't expect her to have starred in a movie with such gratuitous nudity, empire of lust, with a star studded cast that catapulted her into the spotlight...

Most usually actresses who are not getting attention in the extremely competitive and nepotistic Korean market. Korea is an extremely corrupt country and usually such decadence can cause stars to be made.
As evidenced, some A-list actresses did a nude scene before getting popular.
Also these scenes are not raw at all, there is nothing happening in reality. Its all trickery and simulation. At most they are rubbing each other.
Do you know where I can watch with English subtle? Thank you in advance
I have seen almost all of them. There is a certain of charm in them due to the scarcity. Here are few noteworthy A-List titles that I have seen and the highest quality I saw them with:
Empire of Lust (Normal Bluray 1080p, Director's Cut 4k, Uncut 1080p) Hidden Face (Web 1080p) For The Emperor (Bluray 1080p) Scarlet Innocence (Bluray 1080p) Obsession (Bluray 1080p) The Treacherous (Bluray 1080p) (Lesbian)
I have some with me and many that are not in their original state. We can talk on DMs if you want.

Naah there are much better ones in K-movies, scarce few in 4k as well. Just that the theme of this movie is so unique in K-movie land that they sizzle a lot more.
The show does not follow the typical flow. The leads get married in the first 4 episodes and the story is about their life till the end. The focus shifts to their children in the middle and their stories till marriage.
Its certainly not a masterpiece. The drama falls apart in the middle especially after the switcheroo happens and focus suddenly shifts to their children. Even though their individual stories are quite fascinating in themselves but overall are just short stories, with not much depth. The main couple loses the focus and at the end I felt it was all cliche plot lines.
I would have loved more extended exposure to the main couple than their children.
And oh those fish kisses, my god. Each and every kiss is a fish kiss. Just destroys everything. 8.5/10
Please can someone tell me whether the leads get together at the end. I can't bear a depressing or realistic ending right now, I am dealing with depression and need a concretely good distraction.
Everything was great until episode 4... Why can't leads have a normal relationship? ... 🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️their…
For me, this troupe is still much better with almost no attention given it for the most of the drama. They are just glimpses and only in on Episode you get the full story and the following one where the ML personality takes sometime to bounce back.
The childhood friends troupe and the last episode breakup to save the FL from expected turmoil, I think deserve complete ban.
It starts very goofy, becomes addicting and then just poofs out. The romance is also very good till the last few episodes where it just vanishes.
The mystery itself is forgettable, the real content is his interactions with the students.
The ending is very rushed and the climax happens late in the last episode so there is no time for any meaningful epilogue.
The first kiss between the leads is essentially shoe horned in the last moments. Well the whole scenario does not make sense, they have not even started going out yet.
Seriously the drama should have been 16 episodes long at the minimum.
A fascinating aspect of this drama is that its shot in the picturesque city of Chongqing. I had an inkling since the beginning, but in E16 when Zhing Si Qiao wishes happy birthday to the FL on a walking bridge between apartment towers, it was confirmation.
I have always wanted to see this city in a drama. Its such a fascinating concept with all its infrastructure in odd arrangements due to the highly uneven terrain and the skyscrapers on that terrain making it a baffling showcase of sheer Chinese engineering prowess.
This drama is a slow burn, and they are dealing with trauma, which doesn’t just go away quickly. The pacing…
Oh I do understand that we have different views, but aren't we trying to understand each other's views through this discourse. I find it very fascinating. Thank you for sharing your perspective.

Being slowburn is not a negative or a positive point to me. Its not something I cater for unless the leads become a couple in the last episode, then I don't watch the drama altogether.
Novels aplenty use plots from other stories, Literature is literally inspired from other literature. Its not like getting adapted from a novel makes a drama's plots unique.
The palpable tension or the serene mature romance both are fine as long as they are there. Putting them at the ending clip does not matter when that has no impact on the subsequent content.
Aside from few seconds to minutes of scenes every episode after E10, nothing really happens. Before E10 even that was not there and it was like having two people living in two houses inside one house. 7.5 hours, literally, I have no words.
Healing for the FL has not even started by E16, the episode I am watching now. She is the same as she was in the first episode. In fact her obvious proclivity to not have close relations due to her past trauma, is now being explicitly exposed.

Respectfully, you assume incorrectly, I watch dramas from all over the world. Since a few years I am watching C-dramas more as I like to read Chinese novels a lot. Good K-dramas have lately been few and far between for some reason.

But with all that greatness, the ending was lukewarm, meh and lacking. Its not rewatch worthy at all.
The biggest blunder they did I think was to make the ghosts somehow visible to people, it lost that invisibility card and the unique trait of the ML.
