The topic of this small discussion is the reason, that I, as an occasionally Thai BL watcher, have my issues with their shipping culture and fixed couples. Their private life and relationship dynamic shouldn't even matter or be a part of any public interest. They're actors, who should be able, if they are serious with their chosen profession, to act in different kind of roles and to portray a variety of characters on screen.

With a romance, which is not the main point of the show, but an underlying slow burn. That keeps my expectations for any romantic display of affection in check 😂

As if these 2 dramas counterbalance each other quite nicely. Let’s see. 😅 And there is romance. But more as a slow burning undercurrent. It’s not the main focus.
