Love, how they use the girls characters in this show.
Fangirling and crushing? Yes. But retreating and being supportive the moment, they realize, the guy is taken.

As s/o, who has parents similar to Qin’s, supportive and loving, but still missing important points, that scene felt all too real.
And I loved, that they showed a positive development in their relationship, even if in reality it isn’t as easy most of the time.

I don’t know any of these songs.
My impression while watching was, that Qin changed the last line of the song intentionally, as a declaration towards Duang.

While I nodded along with most of your thoughts in agreement here, one part rubbed me the wrong way:
“Duang's parents: his father is that serious part of Duang we get to see every few episodes”, “Duang's mother is everything else.”
Flipping it would imply, his mother is the “unserious” one. Why?
Bc she’s affectionate in a loud and bubbly manner like her son?

If s/o tries to hurt her loved ones, she would be in defense mode at the throat of the culprit and caring for the hurt one exactly like Duang during/after the basketball game.

Did you miss the kitchen talk between Qin and Duang’s mom? That showed, that under her bubbliness she is a perceptive and supportive mother, who only interferes, if necessary.
All traits, displayed by how Duang treats Qin.

He really is a young man version of his mom.
And both chose partners, who compliment their bubbly personalities with quieter ones.

I am only on ep 11. So far it’s cute.
But how comes, that nobody is mentioning the bad recording quality of some episodes?

Or this longingly (and cheesy) „Qin“ „Duang“, when one catches the other and they stare into each other‘s eyes 🤣🤣🤣🤣

She kinda has a point.
When 2 new accounts (within an hour!) are making similar clearly aggravated comments and leave reviews, it does at least indicate, that a troll got triggered.

Why do you call it a romcom?
I get the romance part. But comedy?

And I would like to add s/t about the seemingly fast healing part of the fl.
Depression is multifaced. So is healing from it.
She was already “back” to a at least functional level for a prolonged time period, before the story started, or she wouldn’t be working a full time job and be successful.
And s/t it takes only the right moment and the right trigger, to make a big step forward in your healing process. Depression and healing from it is weird like that. S/t seemingly small can affect you big time in a good or a bad way.
Did she seem to be okay over night? Yes.
Does it means, she was healed already? No.
That becomes obvious throughout the drama in the way, she reacts to some situations. No wonder, that she even needed around a year after he was gone to start searching for him. That was the moment, when her inner self was finally fully recovered and ready to take the initiative again.

Does anyone know, if they have released Qin’s event song from the 1st episode yet?
Just tried to look it up but didn’t find it

I decided to wait, until the last episode was released and then watch the last 3 episodes in one go.
Definitely the right choice.
That drama was beautiful.
It felt like a comforting hug, delivered through a drama.

The acting of all three during the argument between Duang and Jamie was so good.
You could see it on their faces the moment, when they realized, that they both went too far.
The micro expressions were on point

I found his “I want to cry, but the tears aren’t really coming” crying quite realistic for a character, that was closed up since childhood, and only recently started to open up.

That was such a well written subplot.
Money is an important part of a relationship and how Qin addressed it and handled it showed, how much he cares about Duang and that their relationship will be successful.
He clearly understands Duang’s personality and found a good solution.

Besides the big emotional moments I found it funny af, how both friend groups tried to outdo each other in who is the bigger prize, Qin or Duang. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I love these friendships moments. They make this drama so much richer (if that is even possible as amazing as it is already)
