Seeing him in RtS I thought for a minute, that he was his own younger doppelganger. Then I looked the actor up and he is it himself. 😂😂😂😂 Oops. He looks so young in RtS. The filter must be insane.
The series started of strong. But a while, after they got together I stopped rooting for them. Yes, Day was the guy with special needs. But when a relationship changes from caretaker to boyfriend, that relationship and the caring for the other person needs to be working both ways. And that balance was missing here until the end. It revolved the whole time around Day and his needs and feelings. Mhok's feelings, his trauma and guilt after his sister's suicide never got fully addressed and acknowledged, especially how it impacted his behavior in their relationship. And don't get me started on the shotgun 2nd eye transplant, which gave him abrakadabra his eyesight back. To show him thriving in a relationship and as a professional despite being blind would have been a much more meaningful message and conclusion to the story.
