The murder reveal felt quite anticlimactic after all the build up of the different suspects.

I can’t binge watch it either, even though I enjoy it to the fullest.
A few episodes and then I need a break, to mentally digest it. 😅

I tried to match it with the OST titles from th e discussion thread above. But either I am too dumb to recognize the music with lyrics or it isn’t within that list.

Yeah, drama Ando is 🫶🏼.
And Ninako? Her starry eyed puppy love is understandable because she’s a teenager with a crush.
But her hovering around him, when he still has a gf is just uurgh.

While I don’t disagree with your points, at least the movie did a better job in showing, that Ren’s relationship with Mayuka had run its course already and that they were ill suited as a couple from the start. And that they were mostly still together because of Ren’s promise, to be there for her and lingering feelings.
The drama didn’t fleshed out that part as much.
It leaves Ren more shallow as a character and less emotional conflicted.

Nuh. They’re having a similar short appearance in ep 3 too.

I only started to watch this drama.The intro is a beauty with a great OST in itself. 🤩
I don't see myself skipping it while watching the show.

After catching up on the available episodes:
Imo “Idol I” fulfills the promise, “Dynamite Kiss” couldn’t hold up.
Between the Idol topic and the crime plot it brings good old Kdrama romance in a cinematic style back.
I LOVE IT! 🥰
Until now this drama is a win in my viewpoint.

Just finished the last episodes:
Great drama overall!
The last 2 eps could have been 1.
Pei Jr.’s goodbye made me tear up.
Imo his morally grey character was the most interesting within the main leads.
The final post credits made up for the a touch to snoozy last episode.

But romance- and chemistry-wise I agree.
While I don’t ship them, but imo she has more chemistry with the 2ML .
The main couple gives friendship vibes. Which, ofc, is important for a successful relationship, too.

The roasting of his Qin persona in the game by the users was hilarious too.
Poor guy had a rough time.
