At the beginning they showed Khem as a character, who is gentle and caring, and who takes action, if necessary.
Only to downgrade him later to a mansel in distress, who plays more or less a sitting duck, while the story revolves around him, instead through him.
I missed the Khem from the beginning during the last parts.

After casually walking away from a fall over the wall with an arrow in his side 😆😆😆😆

That drama surprised me with how good it was 🥰
Story great.
Acting 😘
Dialogues 👍
Well made all around

I love, how they changed parts of the novel, but kept the characteristics and important moments of their developing relationship on point.

Tysm for your explanations. 👍🫶🏼
I don’t need necessarily romance in a drama.
I recently watched multiple dramas with none or sparingly existing romance.
My main reason for starting this drama was Zhou Yiran, since he is one of my favorite actors.
But while I like his acting and his chemistry with the fl in this drama, I think I will sit this one out.
I read through the comments below and I got the impression, the storytelling of this drama won’t be my thing even if I keep watching.

I hope, I didn’t dim your enjoyment with the show.
Taste differs, and I am happy for everyone, who has fun while watching this drama 🥰

So, it does have a central plot?
I started episode 5 and until now I don’t know, what the driving plot line of this drama is.
Lots of people and sects, which have obv open or hidden beef with one another, but what is the main plot?

It started a bit slow but it got momentum in the second half.
Loved how they concluded the different storylines.

I like Yagi as an actor since MBM.
But he looked way too mature for the role of a high schooler.
I was waiting for a time skip to adulthood in the story, which would’ve slightly justified him being chosen as the ml, but there was none.

I love, that they show, that older people can further develop their skills and get better in their profession, too.
The story arc for the other neurosurgeon is 👍.

Tysm 😘

Episode 8 - the rooftop scene about the pendants on their purses:
The 3 actresses must have had a blast filming that scene 😂

Tysm for your time and effort to provide us with a subbed series.
Highly appreciated 🫶🏼

I didn’t overthink the plot holes along the way and liked the drama a lot.
Good acting.
Got hooked and binged the whole thing.

Qin POV for the tattoo scene. For these of us (myself included), who haven’t read the novel yet:

Just found this beauty of an edit

Currently on ep 3 and I paused to read some comments and reviews.
Yours? 👍😂
Love your review style!
Why is it for some people so difficult to understand, that someone may see all the weaknesses, a show has, but can still enjoy watching it?
And - did you get an answer to your question, what the title is about?

She’s so revenge driven at the moment that she can’t see straight.
Her act of noble idiocy? 🤦🏻‍♀️
Our girl needs s/o as a sounding board, who talks her back from the brink.

When I look at the airing schedule, I am guessing, that we will be getting the express option next Sunday.
And Youku is slacking off with the previews in the app. 😏
