I am just started on episode 9. It would make an excellent kind of not-quite-bromance element in this drama, if the recurring opposing lawyer would defend him in his case. Their contrary morals but in a way matching cunningness would bring unpredictability, humor and tension to the drama. But if I read the comments correctly, that isn’t the case. But I am happy, that the drama is so gooood until now!

At that age, with her history, my money is on a mix of a healthy dose of family love, combined with a side dose of hero worship after the death of her parents. And that mix of feelings is cloaked in a misconception of romantic love. The last one, because she is at the start of the story a lonely teenage girl without any experience about being in love.

After I dropped 2 Kdramas recently because they became a let down after a few episodes, I needed to look up the director and the screenwriter of this drama. Both have multiple hits in their lists. Makes me optimistic, that this drama will hopefully continue to be excellent.
“Without pulling any dirty tricks” Did we watch the same show? Her methods are more than a little questionable. Currently on episode 6 and stopped watching and coming to the drama website to see, if her behavior will improve. Does not seem like it.
Loosely rewatching the drama and realizing, that chapstick guy is one of the 2 gossiping and badmouthing boys in the hallway during the Watarai POV episode. Gives a little extra ick to his eagerness.
