I wasn't only talking about yi seo being neurodivergent I was referring to other minorities let's not even take Yi seo into account what other korean drama has a trans woman or a black person in an important role let alone both of them at them at the same time? Unparalleled is the right word here.

I can't even imagine how devasting it is to spend years and years of your life in a different place every few days sleeping in endless hotel rooms doing nothing but practicing and working with no support or care whatsoever because your parasitic parents have been sucking the life out of you for 15 years because of money since you were a child. He said he's never had a home, I'm hoping Song Ah becomes his shelter and his family, the others don't deserve him.

JY's friends kind of suck? I don't even know what Jung kyung is doing it seems she likes JY and knows he likes her but he never did anything about it and then she started dating his bff and then she kissed him is now flipflopping between the two like who goes after another dude asking him for a birthday present 5 seconds after their boyfriend gives them rings? I don't want to judge her since we haven't gotten the full story yet but if she liked him why didn't she make a move why is she acting as if the decision was solely in his hands ( telling him he never does anything he wants) . As for Hyun ho I get why he would be upset and hurt but it seems he understood the situation seeing them interact and her not wearing the ring so why is he being an asshole to JY who's been nothing but the most loyal friend, they're already starting to show their ugly sides I hope this doesn't turn into a mess of melodrama with everyone but the main leads being insufferable dicks because I'm really enjoying the slice of life vibes.

I love how they've handled the fact that she's his fan so far, yes she likes him but that never comes at the expense of her life ( shown by the fact that she chose to go film her make up video instead of going to dinner with him) and the way she acts towards him is completely normal, she never crosses any boundaries or makes him uncomfortable or acts like a 15 year old school girl, she supports him and when given the opportunity to befriend him she's like why not? and then proceeds to do so in the most healthy way,she seems like such a well adjusted person who knows exactly what she wants in life and goes for it while still being a good person. Grown ass women enjoying someone's creative expressions in a totally normal sane way? It's more likely than you think.

Isn't it funny how the people that keep calling Hyun soo a monster are the ones actually behaving like monsters ? And by funny I mean heartbreaking . The first one tied him up and seemed to take pleasure in torturing him by throwing rocks at him , the second straight up tried to MURDER him for his money and is acting like he's some kind of innocent soul afraid for his life based on let's not forget speculation and rumors. Humans always find endless ways to stoop even lower than it seems possible.

I'm already SO invested in the main leads happiness and relationship,they've known each other such a short time but they've forged an undeniable connection they've protected each other and comforted each other and talked about things they probably never told anyone else and it's all been so effortless and natural, I can't wait to see them fall in love.

I really enjoyed the first episode, it was understated and calm almost a slice of life and the writer seems to be more interested in highlighting these characters struggles and tribulations in a society that's hell bent on keeping them down than in just giving us a romance, also my heart broke for Hye Jun, he went through so much shit in one day only to go home to find his family calling him a burden and acting as if his life is a cake walk.

Regardless of what anyone thinks of this drama and it's writing, the representation it provided is unparalleled in kdramas it had a trans woman, a black man, a neurodivergent girl as very important characters and more or less treated them with respect and kindness, even one of these characters is almost unheard of when it comes to korean shows, to have all three is a testament to the people that made it and how much they value diversity and for that I have a lot of respect for them, I wish more dramas would follow in their footsteps.

To me they died in each other's arms , for each other so now they're spending eternity together in the afterlife.

Goo Se Ra has to be one of the best written female characters I've ever seen in a kdrama, she can be cute and hilarious and selfish and kind and strong and smart and everything in between, she was given a narrative that has been so far almost exlusively reserved for male leads with becoming a politician and fighting the system with the support her her bf who's also her SECRETARY , when are women ever allowed this much range and depth and autonomy ? I hope her portrayal opens up the door for more complex female characters that are the heroes of their own stories .

It's very very good, there are multiple complex, interesting male friendships .

Her ex actually scares me, at first I thought he was just the typical clingy ex-boyfriend but he has some serious issues and seems to be capable of inflicting violence , the way he went to Hae kyung and threathened him, the way he's stalking do hee and even broke into her house, his delusions about her loving him, just the way he talks and acts, it seems that he's not an asshole for the sake of being an asshole but actually mentally ill and isn't taking his medication, and while mental ilness doesn't give you a pass on hurting people, it's hard to know where the line is in cases like these.

Great show, it managed to perfectly balance crime and comedy, without making light of the heinous acts commited which is really hard to do, all the characters were so different and interesting and it deserves to go on for seasons to come. Cha Tae Hyun said that if it did well it could get more seasons but the ratings aren't that great, fingers crossed because this is the perfect format for that.

I love Cho yeon so much, she's had such a hard life but she's been nothing but kind and thoughtful and generous to a fault, I need those three market -I don't want to say bitches because I hate calling women derogatory terms but anything else is too magnanimous- to get off her back and I want her to have a happy ending in all aspects of her life.

Oh okay I get what you're saying she could have definitely contradicted him in a way that's more mellow on TV ,as for the director not accepting her for who she is, I think he does accept her, he always says he loves how she's honest etc She's trying harder not because it's him but I'm guessing because of two things that both have to do with GJ, first that she failed at her previous relationship and she's trying to be better this time around, the second is that GJ himself gave her that advice and she said he knows her best so she's heeding it, as for not trying more during her marriage, i'm guessing since he fell in love with her the way she is, they were very well matched but the thing that sunk them is the miscarriage and the mother in law and that point they were at each other's throat and by then every gesture on each of their parts was met with a bad reaction from the other party, especially since she tends to be closed off and he tends to keep everything to himself.

From an article ;Joo Won saying, “She said she was a time traveling mother” and Kim Hee Sun saying, “This is the fate I chose. Because you’re my son.” So they're mother and son apparently??? Well that sucks I enjoy dramas of all genres and a lot of my favorites don't have romance but since love them both and I was looking forward to an interesting story with romance as an added bonus, anyway as long as it's a good drama it's fine.

Maybe, I mean it's tvn and like 99 percent of their dramas are pretty showy, I honestly think it's a directorial or writing decision, but who knows.

I've been watching dramas for more than 10 years, the last few years even the non-cable networks have gotten lax with depicting physical affection plus this is tvn , they're the ones that are the most open when it comes to this particular matter so it makes it even more cofusing, I'm not saying it's bad and I'm not looking for western standards,I just find it weird and portraying a romance (unless the leads are asexual) should come with displays of physical affection because it's how adults behave, it's a natural part of being in love and I think the way they're handing it is strange. Also while WWSK was an exception, generally unless it's something from like 2007 ( and even in some cases then), if it's a romantically inclined show , it'll have more than what OMB is conveying.

She brought up divorce partly because yes he did blame her and she knew it and it made them unhappy not because she couldn't accept it as her fault which by the way while she overworked herself I'm sure as a doctor she thought it was fine but these things happen even if you don't overwork yourself and it's not like she wanted it to happen and GJ can feel whatever he wants but it's not something she did on purpose or wanted to happen she was just as sad about it if not more, plus I'm thinking she feels extremely guilty and as she said she tried to make it work for years (I'm guessing because of that guilt and that she understood why he blamed her, it wasn't a new revelation, and she didn't say why did you blame me? ) also she disagrees with him in public because they're both professionals and she wants what's best for her patients not out of a need to show him up or be better if he did the same to her and he was right she wouldn't even blink or tell him "oh you did that in front of everyone", also he treated her like crap in front of everyone else, worse it wasn't even in a professional capacity, she was an outcast and he never defended her or took her side, it wasn't until they got divorced that he said something to his colleagues who by the way wouldn't have dared say anything had they not seen how he treated her. Also saying a man wouldn't be okay with that behavior from a woman, as if a woman would be, because it hurts a man's ego, anyway the main thing I blame him for is letting his mother walk all over her and ingratiate herself into their relationship, and also seeing as how the director loves how she's so honest and compliments her all the time, it's sad how she was like to GJ" you never complemented me", she's trying to do better with the director which is going to translate to her doing better with GJ if he's honest with her, they both made mistake and since this is a drama they're obviously going to get back together so they need to address these things if it's going to be believable so they won't make them a second time.
