Title Lobbyist
Rest in piece Jang Jin Young. She's an absolute star, no wonder she was one of the highest paid actresses at the time. I've only seen her in movies, this is the first drama I've seen of her. One glaring issue is how much stuff they were throwing at you. It's like taking 20 action/thriller/politics K-movies and smash them together. It made a very sloppy writing. It was entertaining enough but that one time skip in the middle and everything followed it was very weak and kinda boring. It only managed to pick itself back up around the last few episodes.

Title Rude Women
I grew tired very quickly of the FL and her ex harassing each other non stop. If that were to take a big chunk then they should've reduced its length or added better elements.
On My Man's Woman Mar 29, 2023
This is what happens when you turn up the infidelity to 11. Although it's close but I wouldn't call it realistic. It's definitely a more gritty and unapologetic look into infidelity. We got to see a lot of the character Hwa Yeong but I wish we a deeper look into her character. Her erratic behavior felt misplaced at times. The 24 episodes runtime wasn't fully utilized, there were definitely slow parts in the middle and didn't pick itself up until the last few episodes. Hwa Yeong decision at the end was a bit rushed, I was expecting a better build up for it and a deeper and extended dialogue for a final send off. Overall, it's still a unique overlook on infidelity that's worth exploring.
On Mun Hee Mar 29, 2023
Title Mun Hee
Unfortunately, it's as generic as these unknown makjangs as they come. Extremely low budget, mostly E-tier cast (other than the elders), washed up plot and story and copy-pasted/auto-generated writing. It's almost unwatchable with zero potentials from the beginning.
On Let's Get Married Mar 28, 2023
Casual family drama, might be too tame. Not a lot happen, the story is short with minimum sub-plots. It needed more interesting elements. Maybe having more characters would help.
On Someday Mar 28, 2023
Title Someday
A solid drama that was driven entirely by its characters. Some bits of the dialogue feel similar to movies' dialogues.
On Rondo Mar 27, 2023
Title Rondo
I can't say this was a successful collaboration. A lot of mismatching going on here. This is the type of story that would fit perfectly in a 120-150 minutes J-movie instead of 11 scattered episodes. Some soundtracks were really good while the others were generic free licensed tracks. I don't why the inconsistency.

Title Blessing of the Sea Spoiler
Did Jae Hee's character 2 timed the FL in this one?
No, he was a good boy
On 101st Proposal Mar 27, 2023
Su Jung ain't worth it! This version of Beauty and the Beast is just not good and full of uncomfortable cringe. There's another drama with a similar concept called That Fool (2009) which did it better.
On More Beautiful Than a Flower Mar 26, 2023
Great drama from Noh Hee Kyung pre 2010. The drama is definitely unique for its genre. These relationships and bonds were unlike any other. I didn't get such a strong familial bond from other family focused dramas unlike this one. The same can be said about Mi Su love relationship, they fell so hard for each other it's heartbreaking. It's one of the hardest aspects of writing to nail complex characters. It's not perfect but a solid package for sure. It's been a while since a drama left me empty.
On Secret Campus Mar 26, 2023
Just highschoolers fooling around, it failed to keep me interested or make me care about any student. All the problems were only surface level and didn't go any deeper than that. Which is unfortunate because the drama doesn't have another theme to lean on. School/youth drama seems impossible to nail on a larger scoop and eventually they end up being made for teens.
On Star in My Heart Mar 26, 2023
Rest in piece Choi Jin Shil. It breaks my heart watching her after knowing what she went through. She's a wonderful actress I will always remember. I've seen a handful of 90s drama and this one has definitely a unique style. More like a dreamy and melodic feel, from the color grading to the rocking motion of the camera to the jazzy edits and adequate dialogue. All three main leads were wonderfully written. They're independent with their own problems, they have their own world outside their interactions. This is a textbook on how to make main leads. Also, great OST.
On Autumn Shower Mar 26, 2023
Well, that was something. For some reason I didn't want the train wreck to end but at the same time I'm glad it didn't become nasty. I like all the three leads individually as actors/actresses but they didn't fit quite well together in this drama. I liked the drama for all the wrong reasons.
On Stained Glass Mar 26, 2023
The glass awfully stained indeed! What's so great about this unbelievable friendship just because they spent some time together as kids? This bond was overly blown and wasn't worth much. The premise was alright but the execution was terrible. The writing is to be blamed here, 18 episodes of whiny people. Never communicate or vocalize what you want. They don't convince us why their love is so damn great and they definitely don't prove it by the end. Park Ki Tae takes the selfish act to the extreme, you can imagine how that would shape the story of this soppy triangle. The drama is manufactured to trigger the viewer till the very end. They went for a generic poetic ending from the 2000s as if we weren't already burned out after 18 episodes. They failed to make me care about any character. None of them had any redeeming qualities. The relationship sucked and by the end, I couldn't care less who would end up with who or what will happen to them. To say this was a flop is an understatement. I can't think of any reason to watch this other than cast which was fine. Speaking of cast, this is Kim Ha Neul's worst project and the only one I rated below 5.
On Oh! Pil Seung And Bong Soon Young Mar 25, 2023
It was exhausting to watch Soon Young bouncing between two men for 16 episodes. Jae Wung annoying and unlikable character, I'm starting to hate the actor the more dramas I see of him. Yoo Jung surprisingly remained good and graceful without going in an intense square.
On Only You Mar 25, 2023
Title Only You
What kind of male lead is this? All he does is frowning, shouting and being an aggressive douchebag. It's full of unlikable characters and the how they executed the story didn't help either. The kid is included in the plot but had a total of 3 scenes. And then there's the half-assed ending...
