First 5 minutes in the first episode it was an obvious cheap and cringey comedy filled with squeaky visual/sound effects that you often see in Youtube videos. Apparently being obnoxiously loud, with exaggerated reaction and swearing nonstop equals comedy.
A story of a man who loves his wife but can't get his ex out of his head because of that he brought himself and his family a lot of trouble and emotional damage.
Kim Hye Soo gave a stellar performance as per usual. The drama needed more "actual" content and spice. The information related to the investigation are given in small droplets while the episodes are filled with repeating dialogues.
I liked the concept and the initial set up but shortly after it got stale. Even the small cases weren't interesting. There was no good dynamic between the characters after few episodes. Park Min Young became less than a support character after few episodes.
About half way through the story was over so what can they do for the second half? Introduce selective amnesia, a classic move. This is one of the most mediocre dramas of its genre ever and got the highest number of cheesy cliches ever. On another unrelated note, every single character uses the exact same phone model Samsung Galaxy S5, big sponsor eh?
The drama had a similar concept of another drama called "Dating Agency: Cyrano (2013)" where they manufacture a plan to make the participant fall in love through observation and manipulation.

Episode 12 reeks of horseshit, straight up revolting, and Hae Young is one of the worst ML I've seen in a long time. I wished one of the leads would die to the hotel murderer that would have been more entertaining.
The unfortunate change of the screenwriter at ep5 was definitely noticeable. The only good thing going on for it was the familiar cast members. 2/10
Reminds of the drama You're all surrounded, which shares many similarities. Both leads work in the same field, they both divorced after losing their daughter, their daughter case wasn't solved and similar culprit.

Few days ago I watched (Temptation 2014) and I hated Park Ha Sun's character so I already had some feelings carried on coming into this drama. Didn't like the professor and his brother. Wish they kept Ha Yeon Soo around rather than being a guest because the drama kinda felt empty.

The writer turned off her brain and started writing willy-nilly. Starting from the beginning of episode 13 there was a big disconnect with the story and the momentum.

They tried to make it "poetic" but ended up shooting themselves in the foot.
