If I'm not wrong, you have to have had a Douban account for a while to rate. Douban also has its own system of balancing out ratings too because there have been issues before of people rating really high or really low, though that's not to say that that issue has been completely resolved.
This drama has gotten a lot of flack online so there's going to be a lot of people giving low ratings. It probably won't do much to try to raise the ratings when almost 70% of people have already given it 1 star. The only thing you can hope for is that the hate dies down over time.

It's not only because of the imperial decree left by the founding emperor that he's doing that; it's also in some ways to atone for the sins the Han family did to the Di family.
2. He loves Ren Anle, but if he makes her the Crown Princess, he would essentially be clipping her wings. He sees that she's a great official and that together they can make the empire an even greater one. However, if he makes her one of his women, that's not going to be possible since her main role would then be delegated to providing an heir. Also, for such a free-spirited person like Anle, living in the palace would be a miserable experience so he also doesn't want to lock her up in that kind of prison.

This drama came at a time when I needed something bright to watch. It provided so many laughs, a happy ending, and surprisingly heartfelt moments in just 12 episodes. Thankful to the cast who brought their characters to life and staff who worked hard in delivering this wholesome series, especially the sound and visual effects department.
Hoping the success of this series brings us more rom-coms like this one!
