Same here. I almost made myself sick crying when they opened that “basement” hatch.

I think one of the flaws Xiaoming has is she gets caught up in her own world and struggles to see other people’s struggles (it takes her time to catch up). I think that’s one of the struggles she had as teen with Bai Shu as well. She’s caught up in her own world and her own pain that she couldn’t phantom that there is other kinds of problems and pain. Also, she suffers from tunnel vision sometimes 😭

The mother has something on her and I think in her own way Bai Shu is trying to protect the people she cares about.

She is most definitely not mentally all there. I just need to know if she was always like this or if its trauma that made here this twisted.
