No there isn’t. They are supporting characters and only appear in group settings most of the time. Hardly any alone scenes.

No. Supercut is what its called when they take scenes for a particular pairing. There is nothing that is missing in this when it comes to Pete & Kao. I watched the whole KMA and KMA Pete-Kao cut, there is nothing missing. If you’re only interested in Pete-Kao, their supercut is the only thing you need to watch.

I haven’t read the novel but I feel like the drama needed to have Jingshi to be punished because he was a “bad” man. Although he wasn’t a good person, he had endured too much for him to end up the way he did. Losing Yixiao and also Feng Xiyang should have been enough retribution. I really had hoped he would have taken the throne.

So with only 4 episodes left here is my prediction for the upcoming episodes:

Ep 13 & 14 — Huasheng conception and Sheng Shaoqing plot
Ep 15 — is where I expected Hua Yong to find out about the pregnancy
Ep 16 — I don’t expect the drama to linger on the pregnancy so I expect this will be when SSY finds out about the pregnancy, so followed up with proposal and last minute or so of time skipped scenes with their baby.

I can’t predict a single thing about SWL & GT because they’ve changed the script! 😭 I’m curious to see who they are going to use to help GT hide from SWL.

BL or any live adaptation of danmei is still not allowed to be produced and aired in China. That fact has not changed. That’s why the recent CBLs have been co-producing with other countries & releasing them internationally. There is indeed a rumor these past week that NRTA will be issuing stricter rules that closes the loopholes that has allowed BLs to be produced. But that is not a confirmed story — it’s still a rumor.

I think the misunderstanding with that user is they thought that you and the other person were saying that Cheng Yi’s new drama is BL or has BL elements in it. Which it doesn’t.
I believe they brought up the ban of BLs and BL actors to emphasis that the drama is being released in mainland and if it was BL it wouldn’t have. Though I do believe they could have made the same point without bringing that up.

The demon arc could have been cut a bit and that time given to the mortal arc for balance. It feels like they just rushed through things just to finish it.
It’s not their chemistry that’s lacking in the mortal realm, my problem is with the display of appropriate emotional response to certain scenes that warranted crying, screaming, shaking and throwing up 😂
