If the show were told solely from the FL’s point of view (her knowing the script, the ending, and the version of the ML as written) no one would be siding with him. From her perspective, he’s someone who used the original FL to get what he wanted and betrayed her in the end. So how could this FL ever be sure he’s changed? For all she knows, he could just be pretending, following the same manipulative arc the script gave him.We, as viewers, have the benefit of a wider lens, we see his inner conflict, his thoughts, and how unfairly he was treated. But she doesn't. All she sees is someone who, in the original storyline, destroyed the life of the girl who trusted/loved him. And now, even as she tries to change things, the world keeps dragging her back to what’s “meant” to happen. So of course she assumes his evilness (can I say evilness? 😅) is set in stone too

It honestly gave me the ick. Like, genuinely. The idea of not having agency over your own body, being forced to say things or do things you clearly don’t want to, while being fully aware but unable to stop it, creepy. The kiss scene included, felt bad for both of them. ps I guess the only part that didn't give me the ick is when he had to save her from himself or else she would died 🙄😅

Is anyone else slightly bothered by how the ML has been getting a much more serious, layered arc lately, while the FL still feels kind of stuck in the comedic sidekick role? I know her time will probably come later on, and yes, her sister even pointed out that she’s not really living this world as her own, but still, i wish it was more balanced. The ML is getting a lot of emotional development, and I just wish we could see the same depth for her too. But luckily I really liked all the characters (not you, emperor, go away!) 😅

I was mixing the past of the main leads' past between the dramas 😅

It is a different genre, more like full-out comedy, which will become more serious along the line. it takes few episode to get used to but it is very enjoyable

The horror, the existential dread of remembering(no, being violently reminded)that this is a Mango TV show. The subtitles? Not english, not even language. Just ancient hieroglyphs scribbled by some underpayed employee who hates the viewers 🥲🥲🥲 I’ll be waiting like a tortured soul for Viki to rescue me with actual subs (unfortunately they’re dropping just two episodes tomorrow). The pain. The delay 😫

I was so happy that part two is finally coming out today… until I remembered I never finished the last five episodes of part one because I was scared of a cliffhanger. And to make it worse I'm working today! Now I have to avoid the comment section like it’s a minefield because i will not have time to watch all the episodes of part 1 today 😅
