For someone with such deeply ingrained low self-esteem, constantly overshadowed by an exceptional and talented brother, living in a state of perpetual paranoia and emotional instability, it seems implausible for him to have this unwavering confidence without a single crack. unless, of course, he’s a psychopath. In that case, the detachment and lack of emotional vulnerability would align perfectly, but i dont think he is a psychopath. For me he is a useless filler character

Im not talking about him being a nice person or being selfish or selfcentred. I can't see how he can be this confident after they showed him losing control of his emotions when his family was falling apart, or when he couldn't find the cat to test the food for poison. The amount of composure he displayed battling his brother and asking for the princess's hand in marriage is just too much. Maybe if he were a psychopath, which he isn't. I don't think his character is well-written

Song Han going from a poor, little, innocent boy to a 100% arrogant and over confident guy? Like, how? How do you get so much confidence? Is he on drugs? 🤣🤣🤣

They could've handled his brother's personality change better, making us care about him even as he goes off the rails. But nope, so one-dimensional, he feels like a filler character you just want to skip so the good stuff can start 😅 but whatever at least we can enjoy his humiliation

I'm forgetting even important scenes that happened. Too much alcohol and junk food at Christmas parties. 😅

Ps. Just checked and realised i did watch it 😳 but for some reason forgot it was about the book 🫣🫣🫣🫣

I mean, so far he was a normally well-behaved friend. I wish he didn't like her romantically, as it cheapens their relationship, but whatever. He did say if the ML breaks her heart, he would step in, but for me, that is cringe too, as she doesn't like him that way. I don't understand why there is a need to always make the 2ml in love with the female lead. Like, is that necessary?

Gu Yu. I guess he is not important to the plot now, so they are not showing him, but he will definitely return, as his aunt is the Empress (I think she is his aunt. I'm starting to doubt my memory these days 😅🤣).

So far, she is in a best friend era with him; she never led him on romantically. So, from her point of view, there is no reason not to meet and talk to him, even if she is married. Can't say the same about him, as it seems they are going to make him the typical second ML . I'm still hoping against hope they will not go with that boring trope. Ps. Dont skip him as he is one of the key characters from first life

When his father was feeling ill and trying to take his medicine, which fell on the floor, they didn’t show whether he helped him pick it up or if he just stood there and watched him die while struggling to take it. It was left ambiguous on purpose

Still, I don't understand why she doesn't come clean with him at this point in their marriage. I would tell him about the dream in detail and show him the book. Maybe he can have a different perspective on the riddles

There is one thing bothering me, and I'm thinking that maybe I missed something. FL did tell her husband about the dream, etc but never went into details. At this point, why did she never share the full extent of what happened in the first life and the book, too? That one time she talked for literally two seconds about the dream was never really taken seriously by him; it only explained why she was so scared of arrows. Also, what happened to the nanny? I missed that too. In this life, because she went to live with her grandmother, the nanny didn't come with her? Or was the nanny the one who took care of her stepsister in this lifetime? Help i don't remember, but I'm sure they said something about her, and I missed it

Some people always criticise the second leads without any real reason, both male and female, just to make the main leads they adore seem better. I can’t help but think it’s the kind of thing a 12 or 13 year old might do, because if they’re any older, it’s honestly a bit unsettling 🤣😅
