I'm really curious why they do that, why they like those open or sad endings to the point they take the HE from a novel and make something different. Like, really, why are they obsessed with them, and taking their sweet time during many episodes to do a complete, messy mashup of the last episodes, all rushed and nonsensical? Why? I can't take it anymore 😅🤣🥲😭 This year, almost every cdrama I watched was either sad or had a frustrating open ending

That's what I'm hoping for. My fear stems mostly from cdramas going off the rails in the last episodes, with the writing more than the thought that Miao would betray her friends. Also, after Ming died, I don't think they will take the same route in this case... but never say never 😅I always prepare for the worst while hoping for the best 😬

Yes, that's why it wouldn't make sense and would ruin the show if they made her do something so out of character. Fingers crossed! I'm scared 😱

Momo took him out off-screen in the first life so we wouldn’t have to suffer through his annoying presence even back then, unlike now, where we’re being tortured. As for Miao, I really hope she won’t betray her besties; it would completely undermine everything they’ve shown us about their friendship. Her relationship with SH barely makes sense as it is, but if she betrays them, it would be way too far-fetched. If she does, she might as well follow him straight to Hades 🤣. Ming died, and she didn’t betray anyone only herself so why would Miao get a free pass. But i still think she will stay true to her friends and will be saved by FL... i hope 😅

Sometimes you learn from the mistakes of others, sometimes you learn from your own experience and sometimes, you don’t learn at all 😅

I guess it was her desire to get married, mixed perhaps with seeing a good match FL has with SM, so she gives more credit to SH being his brother and him showing his vulnerable and emotional side. Or simply, it is what happens when two plot devices meet 😅

Because we all have different tastes in dramas, not everything appeals to everyone. For example, I could never finish Until the End of the Moon, even though many of my friends (who usually share my tastes) loved it. I always start it, enjoy it at first, but then hit an arc I don’t like—and once that happens, I just lose momentum and can’t bring myself to continue, i tried 3 times 😅. I didn't like episode 28 of this drama either, except for when the princess rejected SH, but i like very much the drama overall

The worst is when they never regret their poor choices and keep justifying them until the bitter end (like Ming and FL's mother). Hopefully, Miao will be able to see the truth for herself before it is too late, and with the help of her friends, she will break free

Edited. When they met as children (in episode 2, I think), Miao looked maybe four or five years younger than FL; that's when her sister was about to be born. So Miao is older than Ming and younger than FL.

I believe FL will save her, as she failed to save her sister.

It seems that in her head, he's only waving all those giant red flags because he's suffering. How could she possibly resist? I understand she wanted to get married and have kids, but still, I don't understand what she saw in him to go into this mess willingly. He literally gave younger brother vibes in their interactions before

triggering a slow walk down memory lane while she is literally choking, only for him to wrap it all up with a mix of pathetic excuses and a couple of good deeds to make her forget. 😑 And, just like Ming before her, she ends up justifying her husband's actions because of her feelings. The difference is that Miao should be less naive than Ming, but unfortunately, when you're a victim of abuse, it's hard to recognize the red flags especially when you're being love-bombed after the abuse

Let's just hope most of these good people will survive to the end 😭

Yes, they need to make something of it, as he is a plot device; I don't see other utility in his character except being a problem for the leads

He might have had a terrible father and a pathetic brother, but all of his friends are genuinely amazing (and of course family from his mother side. His father side is rotten to the core)

Is Miao Ansu her stepsister 2.0? The more pathetic the man acts in front of them, the harder they fall, ignoring every warning from people who genuinely care about them. Despite being told the guy is bad news, they remain naive and willingly throw themselves into a terrible situation.

There are other couples, like the sister and the loser, and her friend with one of the ML's men, but it is not really fleshed out or written very deeply

The only thing I feel sorry for is the time wasted on him instead of other characters. His only quality was the cat, but since he was using it to test food for poison, he lost any appeal 🤣
