I think, in general, he was checking on everyone, as that is his nature, to keep track of everything happening in the capital. Given his character, I'm not sure if he would be curious to see this famously talented lady from a male point of view, or if he was simply keeping track of all the chess pieces on the capital's chessboard. I think his interest peaked only later on, out of curiosity about this woman impersonating somebody else, but it seems he never had doubts that she was anyone else but the woman he saw that day.

PS. I find that her being so famous as a lady in the capital is a plot hole, especially because nobody seems to know what she looks like. But considering everybody was talking about her talents, etc., that she was never invited to other prominent families' places, they would certainly have wanted to know who this lady is that is deemed more talented than their daughters

Hopefully they had a proper first kiss before that, and the wedding is sometimes after, so we could maybe forgive a little... 🥲

There was that one kiss, not really shown as it was from far away. I think it was episode 40 or 41.

Don't remind me of that kiss. I wouldn't mind even if they used a double for the kiss or if it only stayed as a kiss from far away that we couldn't see, but they had to show us the parrots! It is like showing the Discovery Channel with animals procreating as a metaphor for sex! It is just off-putting 🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲

I'm happy with their romance so far. I love the slow burn, flirting, and reciprocal appreciation between the two characters. I've always hated those romances in which he's just in love because she's beautiful, or they met when they were children, or they talked once and he loved her. Here, we could see the development of their relationship and mutual attraction in an actually believable way. As well, until now, there was no right time for them to take it further

I guess he has spies in every influential family, especially those he knows are in cohorts with the Li family. He is playing a long-term strategic game.

When you see everything she did and realise her general stupidity, you know it's time for her to meet her fate. Her end should match her terrible actions, without wasting more time in the story

Psychopaths do feel emotions but lack empathy. They generally blend well into society and are not necessarily violent. The portrayal of them as rampant killers is exaggerated in media

He would be out of place in the plot of this episode, but he was mentioned through the whistle 😅

I don't understand how this is a filler episode, as they are practically arming the FL with all the mistakes and atrocities her stepmother committed so she can take her down. If they said the backstory was lazy and convenient writing, I would agree, but filler, no 🤷🏼‍♀️

There are a couple of other instances where some things didn't make sense and were quickly forgotten about. I mean, nothing too drastic, so I guess it's fine. In general, it's rare to have a drama of this type with a perfect and solid story, and I still love it regardless. 🙃

I like the pace and that the story is always unfolding fast and never a boring moment, but maybe they are really going too fast through all the twists and turns and JL solving all the crap coming her way nonstop 😅

I just realised I deleted half of my text 🤣🤣🤣 Anyway, I was saying that probably they are keeping her away as they don't know how to use her in the story at this point, and she might come back when they fight King Chen/Chan/Cheng or whatever his name is. As she is a fighter, so she might maybe go to fight in the army 🤷🏼‍♀️

Too easy for my liking and just too convenient, but then again, these kinds of plot devices are all over the story
