For all I know, he might have even targeted XFF when she was young and naive to use her father's position. He is definitely using the princess and enduring all the humiliation for some reason. Yes, she was in a position to do more to help. But I suppose since she is old and was sending money to JL (which she never received), she is given the opportunity to repent. However, not having sent a maid or someone to ever check on JL is abhorrent, regardless of any excuse she has for herself 😒
